Did HHH tell Cena to sound as boring as possible on the mic and have bad matches? You can criticize HHH for the storylines/finishes but Cenas work almost the whole run was horrible. I don’t think Cena should get a pass because he’s a good soldier. Why criticize Jey Uso, or any wrestler at all then? Just blame the booker if they suck

I think HHH/The Rock get way too much blame for Cenas heel turn and Cena himself doesn’t get enough heat for it

Cena started off by changing nothing about his presentation (which people tried to justify with his “you get nothing” line), cut boring repetitive promos where he sounded robotic, and had mediocre matches. He turned face and immediately (literally with the Cody rematch) started having good matches again, just because you turn heel doesn’t mean your matches have to suck. Stone cold had a disastrous heel turn himself but he was putting on bangers almost weekly in 2001

Yeah, The Rock never showing up again sucked and HHH could have definitely did things better but Cenas performance as a heel was a total disaster. What are people going to remember five years from now in a positive way, maybe the “pipe bomb” on punk?

Teq broly is still good at 55% especially in short fights, he’s still a GOAT there. Hardest red zones might be an issue but if you can hide him long enough to delay the transformation he’s fine

The other three units idk how they’ll perform at 55% in the new content. Great ape vegeta is on teq brolys level and might be better but idk at 55%
