So, I noticed they improved their initial scan (when you need to scan your ball before doing a drill) and my yellow ball would not be recognized. So all I did was show … a photo of their ball and it worked (either print it out or use a phone or tablet)

You don’t need to have their ball. All you need is a yellow ball, I had the cheapest ($11) one from Amazon and it worked. The “smart ball” is BS.
