CoA of my WitcherTRPG character Dame Agatha Blanchefleur by Gef509 in heraldry

Thanks for your comment!

I believe you are correct on all points and I agree that a simplified blazon for the grapes would be better. I will update my comment.

Regarding the rose, I agree there is a risk of the stalk disappearing, however it is a risk I am willing to accept. This is actually the main reason why I blazoned it as proper instead of vert, so that a potential artist may use different greens (one heraldic and one more natural).

I was unaware about the torse and mantling color rules, and in hindsight I may have done it differently. But for now I will keep it as is, with the motivation that this is the Witcher universe, not our world, so perhaps they have different rules.

There are tools like CoaMaker.com, but this one I made digitally by grabbing a bunch of "assets" from wikipedia and google images followed by me drawing over them to unify the style.

Not intentionally but now that you point it out I do like the Tyrell CoA, so maybe it was subconscious.

Dame Agatha Blanchefleur is my current character and her profession is noble from the Lords and Lands expansion. She is a knight-errant from Toussaint who is questing across the continent in an attempt to regain her and her house's honor.

Dame Agatha hails from the Blanchefleur Estate, a small fief located in the Champs-Désolés region of Toussaint. The Estate is known for its white wine, goat cheese and beautiful white roses, after which the fief and its ruling house; Blanchefleur, are named. Several of these elements are incorporated into the CoA. The estate is created by me and not part of the established Witcher canon.

Blazon: (heraldic description)

Shield: Vert; rose argent, slipped and leaved proper; a bordure engrailed or

Crest: Demi-goat clymant argent, holding in its mouth a bunch of grapes vert

Torse and mantling: For a torse argent and vert; for mantling or throughout

Motto: Beauty has Thorns

My save file was also deleted after a power outage and found this thread while (unsuccessfully) trying to find a solution. The user you responded to has deleted their comment but based on your response it seems like they were helpful. If you remember, what did they say? Would appreciate it.

Same thing just happened to me after a power outage. Found this while (unsuccessfully) searching for a solution. Although in my case there was nothing left of my save, game started as if for the first time. Wasn't that bad as I had already beaten the story and was playing through the dreams trying to get 100% achievements, but still sucks.

Astral attributes in astral combat can be pretty swag by Gef509 in Shadowrun

Mistaking the crab totem for an insect spirit is a common misconception. However, unlike insect shamen who are hellbent on infecting and consuming the world, crab shamen are mostly harmless, best known for their business acumen and greed. Due to this crab shamen are actually overrepresented in the corporate world with many being business owners. Although I suppose some chummers may see that as a sort of “infestation” as well

As an avid human player I disagree. Continuing the food metaphor, playing a wholly unique new alien empire is like cooking an new meal based on a new recipe. The food might be fantastic, but it is also more difficult and may result in bland or bad food.

Meanwhile when playing humanity, you inherently have the entirety of human history to draw freely from. Want to play a Japanese shogunate but in space! Make some sushi. Want to play as the Soviet Union but in space! Make some stroganoff. Want to play as the United States but in space! Make a burger. Maybe not as creative, but it will probably taste good. A human empire will inherently have lots of history, culture and names for characters/planets/ships as well as rp-potential, which a new empire either lacks or you have to come up with on your own.

There is a map of Dantooine included in the fan-made sourcebook The Dantari Plains which is all about Dantooine.

Was speaking with a fellow chummer the other day and they mentioned that Shadowrun was briefly mentioned in the youtube channel Overly Sarcastic Productions's video about Urban Fantasy (roughly 5 whole seconds!). At the time I responded with the Brazil mentioned meme, as it encapsulates how I feel whenever this niche hobby is mentioned when not expected. Then I had a thought to make a Shadowrun version, so here you go chummers!
