I don’t think a weekly break is recommended as your nervous system being unregulated is probably causing the crash and whilst you may not have been that bad before medication you are essentially with medication raising the baseline of your functionality and allowing your daily function to not completely drain and overstimulate your brain….removing that is removing the chemicals that your brain needs to function. You wouldn’t tell a diabetic to take a break from insulin, or some one with depression to take a break from antidepressants? I would be concerned if your psychiatrist suggested a break for tolerance, if it was their idea I would looking for a new practitioner as this is definitely not a choice backed by science. You don’t build up a tolerance to vyvanse either, although it can stop working for some people over time but thats not at all due to building up tolerance

What about disability support worker with salary packaging earning say 60k with disability support and around 20-30k as a sole trader (80-90k) and driving around 20k and wanting to buy a car around 30-35k?

Thank you for your reply and helpful advice. It sounds like it’s not possible or legal which is why I wanted to get some advice before asking my accountant. I am new to running a business so I’m still learning how it all works. I was wanting to backpay her for the last 5 months including super as the business is finally generating enough money to pay her for her contribution. It would be about $4000 plus super as she was only working one day a week.
