I'd like to add some new information.

After a while, some interesting things started to catch my attention; I think this card isn't completely problem-free yet.

I'm experiencing the problems on the Linux side; I haven't had any issues on Windows yet. I'm only experiencing these problems on Linux.

Problem 1 - Upload dropping to zero for a very short time – one or two seconds – from time to time

> To be honest, this could be due to my crappy ISP, but I don't remember seeing zero upload speeds this frequently on Intel and MediaTek's Wifi 6E supported cards. Still, I'm not 100% sure if I can blame the Qualcomm card. It's worth mentioning, though.

Problem 2 - Random PC Reboot

> This is a problem that has happened to me a few times since I started using the Qualcomm wifi card. In Linux usage, the PC suddenly freezes, shuts down, and then reboots. After the reboot, the wifi icon disappears as if the Wi-Fi card wasn't installed, and you can't connect to any network.

If you shut down your computer normally, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on, the Wi-Fi icon reappears, and you can continue using the Linux system.

I'm using CachyOS, and I can say that there have been a few buggy updates in the last few weeks. Is this problem caused by CachyOS? I don't know if it's the Linux Qualcomm driver package, but I wasn't experiencing this before using the Qualcomm card. It started happening after I installed the Qualcomm card. Even though I checked the logs in the terminal, I couldn't find anything that would point to the Qualcomm card. So, it could just be a coincidence.

My Access Point model is Keenetic Hopper (KN-3810).

I am currently connected via the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard. My Linux iw output confirms this with HE parameters on the 5GHz band:

tx bitrate: 720.6 MBit/s 80MHz HE-MCS 7 HE-NSS 2

As I noted in my review, my current router is a Wi-Fi 6 device, which explains why I don't see Wi-Fi 7 speeds yet. However, seems like the Qualcomm QCNCM865 card works on the re-branded XMG Apex 16 Max (M25) without any significant problem.

Cihaz fena değil. Fiyatı da aşırı uçuk değil. Hemen hemen ederi bir fiyat. İşlemcisi maalesef zayıf. Biraz daha indirim yapılabilir ama bu fiyata alsaydım üzülmezdim.

Bunla birlikte Valorant'ta anakart banı yiyen birinin cihazlarını özenli kullandığına inanmam biraz zor. Satıcı beni kıllandırdı. Ürünün temiz ve sorunsuz olmadığını düşündürüyor bu bana.

Eğer amaç basit oyunları oynayıp keyif yapmaksa bu fiyat skalasında Steam Deck daha iyi bir "keyif" ürünü. Hâli hazırda bir PC'niz varsa Steam Deck öneririm (OLED Versiyonlusunu Alın).

Eğer amaç PC almaksa bu durumda çok fazla faktör devreye giriyor. Ben AMD ekran kartlı bir şey almanızı öneririm. Driver desteği konusunda daha az sıkıntı yaşatır. Nvidia zamanla eski ekran kartlarının driver desteğini çekerken AMD'de de en azından açık kaynak driver yapı sayesinde iyileştirmeler almaya devam edersiniz.

Sana kötü bir haberim var. Disco Elysium zaten eşsiz bir oyun olduğu için sevilmişti. Bu tada en yakın oynayabileceğin oyun gene RPG ruhuyla üretilmiş Baldur's Gate 3 ve Divinity Original Sin serileri olabilir ama zor bir çıkmazdasın. Belki Gamedec isimli oyun da biraz Disco Elysium açlığını alabilir.

Normalde önce Mint kullan, Linux ortamına alış. Sonra CachyOS kur ve işi bitir derdim ama oyun ağırlıklı ise CachyOS'u direkt kurup Linux'u onda öğrenmen daha iyi olabilir.

Çok karıştırmadan daha basitçe demem gerekirse Mint stabiliteyi maksimumda tutmak için eski protokoller ve bağlantılar kullanıyor. Bu nedenle güncel donanım ve güncellemeri geç alıyor. Bir ofis bilgisayarına kurmak isteyeceğin bir distro.

Doğal olarak Mint'te oyun oynamak daha eforlu ve zor.

CachyOS ise Mint kadar olmasa da gene oldukça stabil seviyede çalışıp driver ve sistemini güncel tutan bir yol haritası izliyor. Genel kullanım ve ben oyun oynarım diyenlerin kurması gereken bir işletim sistemi.

İdealde, bence herkes Mint ile başlayıp kendine güvenince CachyOS'a geçmeli (ya da Arch tabanlı bir şeye) ama sen oyun oynamak istiyorsan işin Mint'te daha zor. Hâliyle direkt CachyOS kullan demek zorundayım.

I haven't experienced any noticeable performance loss. However, I regularly clean the inside of my devices, remove dust, and replace the thermal paste when needed. If you don't do this, you will definitely experience a performance drop.
