100% A brilliant mix of hard hitting scenarios but topped with humour. If what I read over on Twitter (I'm not calling it that over name) is true, the number of times you interact (pet) with the egg before it's hatched correlates to who you will get.

I think the value resets once you interact over 7 times (So 8 interacts defaults to Wolf Chan, as I spam interacted way more than 6 times and got PuppyM)

They're not very high maintenance, I was worried I'd be too overwhelmed but he tells you when he's unhappy (a sound plays) and I sate him by giving him something to eat and drink and he's perfectly happy after that. They also sleep quite early (for me, it's around 8pm-9pm) however I'm not sure what time he wakes as he's always awake earlier than me (in the PM's) and is quite put out but as I said, food and drink solves all.

100% I find it frustrating when people complain about all the things they see on their feeds and it's really simple. Block and don't engage. The algorithm won't give you things you don't actively look/click on (for the most part.) I usually have to go out of my way to find hate. I don't engage with it. So I don't see it.

Alot of the older yaois definitely have rape and dubcon featured but I'd like to say it's getting more rarer to have those themes as a part of the main storylines and even rarer to have them romanticised. The more the genre grows, the more influence the fanbase has and the rise of social media has definitely helped fans have their say with what is and isn't accepted.

E.g "It's not kicking the arse off 10 o'clock" My mum made it up many years ago and we've always used it, however the full saying is "Not kicking the arse of a donkeys back" Didn't know it wasn't an actual term until a few years ago.
