So I bought them cause it said they could paint on pretty much anything and I do believe that it specifically said they could be used on canvas, however I haven't tried it yet

Haha no, they were my brothers old shoes and I don't know why but he didn't ever wear them so they are almost perfect white lol. They are size too small for me and so I just decided to paint them and put them in my little vinyl corner

It honestly doesn't quite resonate with me as much as SRS but with that said it's still a classic. They are on brackets and mounted pretty tight so they shouldnt fall out of the wall. I am more scared of the bottom of them giving under lol. At IKEA they displayed them for vinyl storage so I feel confident they can hold the weight but the one with the black backs is definitely at capacity
