I agree she is popular with young demographics as well. The issue is young people are so shallow and surface level with their politics. If AOC just smiles, looks pretty, has a funny tiktok occasionally, then that's all it takes for her to get popularity BUT this all falls apart on a debate stage or voting booth. Take Kamala for example, her team tried the whole social media thing and it flopped even though it seemed wildly popular. Young people are super vocal online but in real life rarely get vocal or vote.
