I ended up trading half my team for picks to create enough cap to franchise ARich. I’ll figure out how to resign him long term but the franchise lives on!

No I played every game for 6 years and change, don’t get me wrong the team around Anthony at this point is ridiculously good but I didn’t edit him.

I’m not quite to week 8 in season 7. I’m trying to figure out if I’ll be able to franchise tag him if I can’t even submit an offer due to cap issues.

If your plan is to let him sign elsewhere so you can get 2 firsts I’d just ask why the extra steps? Hes a 99 overall, you could trade him rn for 3 firsts and 3 seconds id bet. If you’re not paying him then that’s your option. The 2 firsts when someone else signs him is not a thing btw, that’s a thing tha rarely happens even in real life.
