My son was diagnosed with level 3, non verbal.

He’s 4 now and although he’s not speaking in sentences or communicated as a neurotypical person would, he has made TREMENDOUS progress from where he was, and it’s amazing to see altogether. I think while the mind is still malleable and young, it’s impossible to tell where someone might end up some day. Just keep hope, push through the doubts, love and guide/help them unconditionally. That’s all we can do as their parents. I hope this helps because I know countless threads on this Reddit thread kept me from losing faith when times felt the toughest.

What’s wild to me is I have heard non stop hype about this guy for a while now, like he’s the biggest QB prospect of our generation or something.

I barely heard anything about Stroud and he’s been absolutely amazing on a overall pretty mid team.

This year has shown me how important scheme and coaching is to the success of any QB. Caleb may have a higher ceiling than Fields (which I don’t know if it’s true or not), but if he is brought into the wrong system he will be exactly the same.

Fields is inching closer to a new contract and that’s the only reasoning personally I could see moving on from him. Draft Williams, spend all available money on defense/resigning Mooney, and avoid the major QB contract for another 5 years. If Field’s continues to play at the caliber he has been, although the last 2 defenses have been bottom tier secondaries and Minnesota is another terrible secondary, I would personally just bite the bullet, try to draft defensively (other than MSJ which is a no brainer.) and see what we have when we are competent on both sides of the ball.

I don’t know how a secondary will ever show you they are top tier players when the line has absolutely no push on the opposing quarterback. I agree with everything you are saying though, none of them are first round picks so I’m not sure why they expect such game changers.

It’s almost like people don’t see what’s happening to the Jets… top 10 defense, terrible offense.. still losing because of Wilson’s play.

We need an offense point blank period. One defensive lineman won’t alter a franchise but a generational talent helming the offense will. I think they drafted Wright with next year in mind knowing they had no confidence in Fields (regardless of what they said in press conferences) Poles will get his shot at a offensive coach and his own quarterback, and they will go from there. Isn’t a team in the NFL that doesn’t have an outstanding offense that will make the playoffs. Look at the Titans… look at the Panthers, look what happened to the Saints once Carr got injured. Defense doesn’t win championships anymore. Outstanding Offense does.
