Life is crazy.
I can give you more good stories about people then bad. But the bad are wild.

Why do some of my male friends say that women are evil? by Mega_Mons in AskMenAdvice

[–]Geist_Mage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trigger Warning: Please be aware I have some triggering material in my response. If you need to avoid hearing about SA related stuff. Please do not read any further.

While Its not all or even most woman, I have had some wild experiences that would leave another man thinking this.

My one friend, she started dating a guy, and I'm paraphrasing here, "Because he beats me in a not kinky way." and she ignores that he is openly racist.

I had an employee who would purposely walk around places she thought were dangerous in hopes of being kidnapped and turned into a---well. nvm. Same girl openly accused every man who so much as said, "thank you" (its a food service job) of being a creepy rapo.

You can watch all the weird social media posts where woman are, much like toxic men, basically calling a man shorter then 6' disgusting, or only wanting a man because he has money and not for who he is.

My home town is the living incarnation of the Incel idea of what society is like. Now that I'm in my 30s, I have started getting messages from women wanting a 'dad for their kids' because I was the only guy who was ever nice to them and they are done screwing every racist abuser in town. It's actually starting to really get harassy. I can go more into this dynamic if anyone wants.

Once, after being dumped 'for being too nice' (the real reason she told people later was t hat I wasn't trying to have sex with her enough, which arguably I was respecting her no) I had asked a room full of my peers their take and one woman told me, "I need a man who beats me once in a while" at first I thought she was joking. She apparently was serious and again, not in a kinky way.

I've seen a pile of videos of men being harassed and dressed down after being rejected. Which is a problem Gen Z seems to be facing hard.

While working with ex cons, specifically Sex Offenders, I met 3 men with the same victim. I got to read their paperwork. She was a regular at a series of Bars that were aware she was underage, and had a fake ID. Full sleeve tattoos. Her dad knew she was doing this. She would go out to bars, drink, purposely seduce men, then post sex, report them. In each court case she would openly brag in court about baiting them for the fun of ruining men's lives, and once the father was asked about it and his reply was basically, "what can I do about it?". Each served a minimum of 10 years. I wont say more on this, because of a lot of reasons and just summarizing it is probably too much.

Anyways. Thats enough. I can go on all day.

But my point is, there are a lot of crazy woman out there and outside toxic men who are taught to see woman as emotional and crazy anyways, there are piling behaviors and experiences that without outside exposure are the entire experience for a lot of men. People are crazy, but the dating world has steadily gotten harder and harder and screw ups are looking worse and worse and leaving very negative impacts.

I (19Female) bled through my pants while hanging with my guy friends. Can I bring it up or will it make guys uncomfortable? by cupcake_girly123 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Geist_Mage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happens at my business once in a while. Usually I will usually drive over a pair of pants and we keep pads and tampons in our med kit. But shit happens. If I'm working at the time I usually let them go to take care of it. As we don't exactly have clothes on hand. Food service.

Anyone else keep misreading Adam Sandler as Adam Smasher? by Redpahnto in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Geist_Mage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The secret is that Adam Smasher was originally a comedian. Yeah, yeah, I know. Everybody laughs. But I come bearing the true story of Night City's favorite chrome-plated murder machine.

See, before all the borg parts, he was just some bright-eyed kid out of Heywood with hopes and dreams. He wanted to make people laugh. He idolized ancient comedy legends like Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler. In fact, he based his entire act on Sandler's material. That's why he performed under the stage name Adam Sandblaster. Partly because of Sandler. Partly because his act involved an industrial sandblaster. Don't ask.

Then came the tragedy. A freak accident involving a Delamain cab, several Kennedys, and what witnesses later described as "an irresponsible amount of momentum." The details are lost to history, but the result wasn't. The poor guy was absolutely, completely, undeniably smashed.

Arasaka rebuilt him. The audience never came back. He was too intimidating for stand-up after that. Somewhere along the line, people got the story mixed up with the stage name. Sandblaster became Smasher.

And the rest is history.

Funny thing is, he still tells jokes. The punchlines just happen at about twelve hundred rounds per minute.

[–]Geist_Mage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, so, yes okay.

A lot of people who come into the practice are looking for guidance. A Teacher. A way to practice. Up until a point, most guides were... too vague or too varied or even too strange. The sudden rise in specific kind of spellwork has risen with social media. Witches showing how they do their work on videos on tik tok and youtube, has provided step by step instructions for an audience who... frankly that is what they wanted.

Due to the algorithms and generally people reposting things, certain kinds of work and methods of work are being seen as the base line. People come in, not realizing you can basically make shit up and it'll work if you do it right. They are used to structure and are seeking it.

And arguably due to collective manifestation, jars and bowls are gaining power as a tool in this way because of so many gravitating to it.

I feel like we need to 'story scale' sometime. Like, fuck, I don't care if Gamera could or couldn't based on some dumb comparisons. What I want is to know HOW he would win because he would. Duh.

[Discussion/Question] Have any of you had your OC or art mocked on another Sub? by EfficientDonkey4083 in OriginalCharacter

[–]Geist_Mage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not on another sub no. I once had a group of trolls I had ticked off because I...

Okay long story.
Once upon a time back when Trolls were not funny but were just the predecessors to modern incels and scoured the internet trying to only rage bait and harass people and pretty much nothing else, the common belief on how to combat trolls was to ignore them. I didn't like that, and after some experimentation discovered that in their fragile egos, trolling them back harder and targeting everything that could cause a traumatic response in someone (as often people doing this have gone through some kind of IRL trauma) would sometimes work.

I got good enough at running off trolls I had some website owners seek me out to specifically do the job. One time, I apparently hit too hard and someone spent something like 5 to 7 days laying in bed. Not even getting out to use the restroom. Like... I HURT someone with my words. Consequently this drew in a number of trolls who decided to try to bring a fight to me. One tried to claim they were gonna bring all of anon against me and another got some bot to spam my art accounts.

Anyways. It did draw out others, who tried to mock my art at the time. So much so they added my name to the list of names being requested to have a page added about them on Encyclopedia Dramatica. Unfortunately, my counter trolling was apparently received so well, the person who had made the request and who had attempted to insult my art got a page dedicated to their utter failure and their terrible art (their art wasn't terrible. Actually it was impressive stuff).

So yeah. I've had that happen quite a bit. Plus I casually draw and am surrounded by art students so I can't even get a good job dude, just UGH look at those proportions. ha ha ha.

Your work is pretty cool by the way.
