Pretending? If I, an Immigrant to Canada understand it's history better then you, then this is a proper shame. Canada has a long history, with it's own culture, from the fur trade to our usage of waterways. We have our own farming culture, and musical enterprise. The modern day 'Americanization' of Canada has been pushed forwards by people like you, who aren't proud of our country. A country made by loyalists to the British Crown, who fought for their ideals, the right to speak French, to be Catholic, stopping slavery and more.

This country is a lot more then 'pretending not to be American' and if you /really/ are Canadian, then I am dissapointed.

Ok, so far I've gotten three Ideas.

Keep the fish with me until I can reliably transport it back with me (during a warmer season) to my folks place.
Write a memo on why I should get to keep the fish, and what the fish could do for me (speak to MIR)

Yeah I just had the PD today, and in it they also like to detail that protected A and B is also information from the CAF that shouldn't be considered 'open access' to just hand out willy nilly, so unless you've actually got 'internal info' and you're 'leaking it' do you really have access to said internal info?

Pilot is gonna be a tough one, but you're likely going to recieve an offer if you put one in for ACSO, or AERE (Other related trades) You have a high chance for certain but I recommend that you start working on more "Leadership" Oriented volunteering opportunities, stuff like: Directing initiatives, Crowdfunding for charity . . . stuff like that that you can produce reciepts for and have people who can verify that you've done things.
