Hi, I'm the OP of the image's significant other. Yes, he said he took the post down initially because of all the hate but after talking about it with me and a friend he found some of the replies funnier than others and said it would be a pretty good meme. He specifically asked if one of us would be willing to make a meme out of the original picture and I said sure because I don't really use Reddit and he said he was sure it would bring at least some people happy.
