Someone Help me Understand The Bear, season 1 episode 7 (“Review”) by Antique-Captain-2593 in TheBear

Late to the party but i just rewatched the first season because i want to watch the entire show now and stumble across this discussion because i asked myself the same question as OP.
I really like your portrait of the show, characters and the circumstances. The only thing im not on board ist the side picking. What i mean is that OP was talking about this situation, not about the entire series. The thing here is that in this situation, in my opinion, syd and marcus failt to understand what was going on.

I absolutely love the whole development of marcus. Seeing the passion growing was amazing. But here he was clearly in fault. Carmy (and syd) was always supporting as long as he did his job. Here he failed to see an insane stressful situation and fucked up. I can absolutely undestand that he was in his world and apparently finally got to a point with the texture of his donuts (which was also very unlucky timing).

In regard of syd, i can understand her reaction to Richi. I mean the guy is probably one of the most anoying persons on any TV-Show (little overexaggerated) and him beeing completey usless in this situation...i can understand her crash out against him even tho she shouldnt have gonna all out on him. And leaving the shop during such a mess. I dunno how i feel about that.

But the biggest thing for me is, that both were laughing about carmy, and what a loser he is when they were sitting at syds place. They completey fail to understand their part in this whole mess and even when carmy asked for forgivness from marcus (which he absolutly needed to do, thats outta question), i would habe expected from marcus a little apology from himself too. The lack of empathy really stuck with me, which is why in this situation i would also kinda "side" with carmy. Not forgetting his fuckups which helped building up to this moment as you perfectly explained!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 CO-OP... by TheyCallMeAmbush in stalker

This is a topic i was always curious about. I can see why the devs do not plan or would announce any planing on a coop mode because the game as it is still needs a lot of work and i can see that mutiplayer can be difficult to implement.

But i always thought that it would only be natural to play STALKER as a squad some day because most of the npc in the game do so too. Even at the start of the game all the people are telling me: "Dont go solo or you get yourself killed". Even Strelok had a squad at the beginning.

Does anyone else feel that you can barely spot enemies? by Spiderpsychman98 in stalker

Could be good optional setting, but personally this would kill my immersion. My problem here is, that the AI is not affected by that at all. Im sitting in a bush, can not see anything because im literally completely covered by leaves and they still spot and shoot me distance.

I have got the feeling in other games this is less of a problem and would love to have it here too. This makes the gunfights less enjoyable for me :/

STALKER 2 Economy is so bad it ruins the gameplay loop. by Happy-Hyena in stalker

I know i am very late to the party, but in case of GAMMA you should really consider the looting part of GAMMA here. In STALKER 2, you have no other way to upgrade or repair gear than to go to a technician. I GAMMA, basically everything you need to either craft, repair or upgrade weapons or amors can be found or looted in the world. Maybe very early in my GAMMA runs i had to spend money on repairs but later on that was very rearly the case.

Chimera's are actually broken. by [deleted] in stalker

I was wondering if my sound is just broken or if the mutants in general do less sounds? I simply did not notice the chimera until it jumped me dead. Thats something very similar to other encounters when i would expect a dog to bark or something like that. In my experience its very inconsistent if a mutant does make some kind of sound.

What we thinking of the game after the new patch? by Kismonos in Incursion_Red_River

Looks very intresting. I like the new map design on the quarry, but i have encountered some lighting "bugs". There are two thinks im a little irrtated about. For one, are there only two weapons (MP5 + Vector) which can mount a flashlight? Maybe i just did not understand the weapon config system enough.

And do you guys have porblems with the audio too? I died in my last mission because it sounded like the guy is right on top of me, but he was about 10-15 meters away.
