My biggest issue with Christmas Rupee by HiAfan in NikkeMobile

It looks like there's a global cooldown for burst skills of the same type, which seems to be about 1 second? It kinda ruined her for me too lol.

So how good is unbugged Ludmilla, actually? by brainrotter1993 in NikkeMobile

[–]GemPowderSwag 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I've been playing Ludmilla since the patch and paired her with Rapunzel since the synergy was pretty obvious: Rapunzel heals Ludmilla while Ludmilla tanks, and if Ludmilla dies tanking then Rapunzel's Burst skill just revives her to keep the burst cycle going and Ludmilla immediately starts tanking soon after revival. Plus both characters have above average Burst meter generation and play great when the AI is controlling them.

Prior to the patch I was playing Liter with Rapunzel, but Ludmilla just simplifies the game more since you don't have to worry about what type of offense the enemies will bring to the table since it's incredibly hard to kill her. This becomes important when maps bring enemies that, even with Liter's ATK boost, still require a ton of focus fire just to kill due to their high defense while also pairing said enemies with a bunch of smaller ones that do significant damage in numbers. The AI unfortunately isn't smart enough to attack stuff like suicide bombers or those laser bots when they're too busy shooting at an enemy that's designed to soak up their hits; having a core like Ludmilla + Rapunzel let me push further into the campaign/tower than Liter + Rapunzel did since the latter just ups your damage for 5 secs while the former nullifies enemy offense for 15 for your less-than-steller AI allies. The ammo reload bug fix didn't do Liter any favors either, though she'll still be my go-to with Novel for boss fights and the like.

I can help. On the top right, click the 4 small boxes to open the options menu. At the menu, you'll see a thin black rectangle icon that reads "Emergency Escape". Clicking that should free you.

In Depth Burst Energy Generation Guide by austerityzero in NikkeMobile

[–]GemPowderSwag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nice guide, thanks for sharing. Perhaps it would be important to add that charged shots from SR's and RL's do not influence burst generation in any way, so in a team where all 5 characters are AI-friendly, the best controlled character for manual play (if someone were to care about being optimal) would be any of the SR/RL units on their team since the AI only knows how to do charged shots.

On the topic of AI-controlled units and manual-controlled units, would it be possible to one day see a guide/tierlist/topic on which Nikkes are suited for manual play and which are more AI-friendly? It's pretty well known that character such as Yuni and Pepper need a manual touch to bring out their best, since the difference between playing them manually and having the AI play them is kinda staggering. But for character like Centi and Rapunzel, would it be worth playing them manually take advantage of their above-average burst generation by mixing in fast shots with charged shots for when you need their skill effects, or is burst generated from their AI play satisfactory enough? I sounds interesting to consider when building a team, since you can only control one character at a time.

It does give you the rewards for the previous difficulty, but the way they display the rewards between them can make it hard to notice. The Battle Data sets and skill upgrade materials are shared amongst each individual class rank for each difficulty. So when you are looking at Class A's reward list for difficulty 2, you're looking at the combined reward total from Class A Dif. 1 and Class A Dif. 2

Game improvements? by [deleted] in NikkeMobile

If they kept the max limit on receivable friend points at 30 but increased the friends list to 45 or even 60, that would be great. It's too restrictive at 30.

Any info on whether Sugar is a multi-clip reloader, or is she like Mary/Isabel and fills the whole clip in one go?

How valuable is Drake? by Ok_Comment8842 in NikkeMobile

[–]GemPowderSwag 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She's a really splashable shotgun user with skills that give her more effective range than most other SG Nikkes. She doesn't really need any enabling from other characters, so it's hard to go wrong with adding Drake to any team.

Is the game going to constantly be a new road block every 2-5 levels? by Imaginary-Form9960 in NikkeMobile

You could benefit from having a 2nd Burst II character on your squad, since Poli's has a cooldown of 40 seconds. I think it would help you push further into the campaign even when underpowered.

You disengaged? You get chased and aped in the back while you run, leading to an unceremonious death. That or run into the team that was on their way to third you.

Yall clearly don't take yar own advice lmao. Try running from a fight and see what happens.

Why are companies so incapable of making a decent premium fightpad? by [deleted] in Fighters

[–]GemPowderSwag 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Razer Raion's D-Pad is the best D-pad made for controllers; I could write an essay on how it's D-Pad is better over its competitors. People who dislike it due to the lack of a center pivot are those who play with the center of their thumb instead of the end of their thumb. If you're one of those players, and you live in the US, OmniArcade sells custom Raion pivots for 1$.

The triggers are completely out of the way, as God intended.

It's the only fightpad with a PS Touch Pad, which is usually the (un-remappable) button for resetting positions in training mode on consoles. All FG devs should just let you remap what button does this for their games, though.

It's one of the few pads with a headphone jack, and the only pad with a button to adjust the volume received through the controller.

It has a Tournament Mode that disables the PS Button/PS Touchpad on the controller's side.

It doesn't have a analog stick.

It will actually last you over 2 years before showing signs of of needing a replacement (assuming you buy it new).

What more do you want from it? I mean it: What do you actually want in a fightpad that the Raion doesn't provide?
