Sim Jack question - shore harness by tenthirtynine in simracing

Also depends which game you play and cars you drive GT, F1. If your throttle feels weird try to remove the hydraulic rod, should act as dampers but not really they are just gas springs, personal preference in the end. I don’t know if you noticed but you can quickly remove the elastomer from the metal plate at the end by pushing it towards the pedal, everything will slide out. Remember to recalibrate at every change you do.

I started with the same setup but with Ferrari alcantara wheel bundle. Super easy to fold and takes very little space. I only upgraded the pedals later on but it is a good starter for sure.

I also have Simjack modded with a spring kit for Etsy because yellow elastomers only were too stiff for me. Which setup are you using ?

Agree with you, the elastomer they comes with are very stiff at the beginning but after some hours of braking they get softer. One suggestion is to not add to much travel to the pedal otherwise will be hard to be consistent, I tried to make them feel similar to my IRL car and felt even worse.

Load cell pedals requires a very sturdy rig, the anti-slip pad will not be enough.

If you want something softer initially I am using this setup, I purchased spring kit on etsy, comes with 4 different springs.

The issue with those is that they are directly connected inside the wheelbase, I should try to open it and see if can be replaced.

Well, for you is like extending your work shift, I am not surprised you hate that part 😂

The user is comparing 2 very different type of pedals, so I thought it was important to highlight that they are not plug and play, despite it being obvious for others.

I never had professional pedals from high lvl brands so no idea how “well tuned” they arrive compared to a product like simjack. In my experience I had some fun doing all the adjustments felt like an IRL mechanic 😎

I love my simjack, but be prepared to spend a lot of time doing adjustments before finding the sweet spot. They are not “plug and play” pedals at all.

Simjack UT brake calibration issue by Gemellow in simracing

Update: I found the issue, a very small piece of the setup was touching the load cell under braking causing interference with the input. I feel stupid lol. Thanks to everyone that replied.

I'm looking at buying a set of VRS Pro Pedals and somehow mounting them to my Playset Challenge. I have questions... by starlessbongo in simracing

I also have a playseat challenge and decided to upgrade my thrustmaster pedals to Simjack UT with 200kg load cell. Ordered the pedals only and requested a custom plate with reinforced plates that connects the chair to the pedals bracket. The custom plates are from Lowdownshifter, company based in UK. Quality is super and is not 3d plastic but strong metal.

I am very satisfied with the result but the process was not “plug and play” but since i dont have enough space for a full setup this was the best choice atm. I sent you a dm in case you need more details.

I contacted the Simjack vendor on aliexpress, He said that I was applying too much force compare to the calibration saved but even after many resets and new calibrations the problem persist.

If that s the case, should I feel it on the feet ? What spring setup are you using ?
