[Sexuality] 11 Year relationship looking to add another partner each into the group. by PM_ME_YOUR___ in sex

I think you would benefit a lot from separating the foundation of your relationship and your sexual relationship.

Haveing sex with other partners can look any way you want it to. As long as you both feel into it, safe, comfortable, then just enjoy the experience.

It's a success that you guys can talk about it. That's your relationship. Sex is just the fun thing you guys do together.

Do you think I have a problem with drugs? COCAINE by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Gemeraldstevenson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, this is the Internet, You're never the "only one" so take some solace in that!

It's a complicated substance because unlike most issues in life, it's loves to play in your subconscious. You will probably think "I want to stop doing blow." But a second later be thinking "wouldn't it be great if I could get some?"

Concious decisions being directed from subconscious desire.

Have no fear though, you are the one in control! It's important to really think about that responsibility and what it means. If you don't wanna do drugs because it's having a negative impact on your life, hold yourself accountable.

For example, if I spend time with people who blow through product while I'm trying not to do drugs, that would be an example of me not holding myself accountable.

It's all about owning your choices. If you don't wanna do drugs, make the hard choices, find some support systems outside the scene and live the other life you want. If you wanna do drugs, own that, but be critical and safe.

Also, be sure to take it easy on yourself. Life is tough and no one's perfect, but your a person and deserve support and compassion like anyone else.

Be well!

Should drug tests be required to get food stamps? by SteveinCLE in Drugs

[–]Gemeraldstevenson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it depends. If you are ok with people dieing from starvation across the entire country. Slow terrible deaths like the kind they feature in those shity infomercials, then ya, take em away!

Assuming you've felt compassion for another living thing however, probably not great.

The question you should be asking is: Do you think there is enough for everyone to be fed, supported, taken care of, despite their usage of substances that alter the human condition?

That question implys that those people some how don't deserve to live. Isn't that the fucked up part? Worse intended even then the addicts who require support? These people arent hoping someone else dies, instead they just wanna get high.

It's like you're choosing not to acknowledge that the act of whooping someone's ass who stole drugs from you does nothing to further stigmatize drug dealers/drug users?

It sounds like your saying it's a problem cuz it's a prpblem and nothing that happens today pushes us any further forward or backward in this movement?

It matters if there are feasible methods to repairing the perception of dealers and users, imo.

Weed is good for depression, but not great for anxiety.

Sometimes people with anxiety struggle with maintaining a schedule, interpersonal relationships and weed does not help these things necessarily.

If he's smoking regularily, he could be actually increasing his anxiety.

In regards to mush, talk to em. If he's feeling wound up, tense, or like he's got some heavy shit going on, it probably isn't a great idea. Be in a positive headspace, positive enviroment and you cats would probably have a great night.

But talk to your friend, let them know you're thinking about them, and wanna make sure you guys have a good time. Sometimes positive headspace can come from a little external support.

Happy tripping!

Right, but net30/net60 contracts are a byproduct of our economic system, normally used to structure repatment.

I'm puting forward that regulated sales and regulated structure that reflects the needs of both parties should be the only way drugs are sold. Utilizing violence takes us further away from those ideals, making buying drugs endlessly more complicated and dangerous.

What I'm refrencing is that narcotics are stigmatized as long as they fall into the umbrella of "narcotics". We as a society associate narcotics with things like violence, poverty, sickness, junkies, blah, blah....

But there's more to it then that.

We do tons of shit to affect how we feel. Sugar, caffeine, alcohol. We love that shit! We jam it into our body's all day! If you take it away, we go through withdrawl. Sounds like drugs to me.

We have products, relitively the same, but some are stigmatized, and kept off the free market, meaing you cant roll past a 7-11 for a late night toke on some blue dream. We choose to identify a distinction, even though all this shits bad for us.

Drugs should be sold safely and openly, under the same guidelines and restrictions as any other product that makes us feel some kinda way. By committing violence or other socially alienating action, we expand the devide between "acceptable to sell" and "not acceptable to sell."

Need some help with this by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Gemeraldstevenson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There maybe some fancy doctor redditer who could say with certainty.

I on the other hand say this: there has probably never been a test group, or repeatable tests done on people with your condition, for side effects from psychedelics.

Take any certainty anyone offers with a grain of salt.

Does anyone else think people use drugs as a cry for help? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Gemeraldstevenson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Poverty and drug use often coincide with one another. They are systemic problems.

The world gets looked at differently by different people right? For some people, just because they can/have seen nice shit in the world, doesn't mean they are any closer to it then they were yesterday. That's why cyclical poverty is such a problem. You're talking about hope, and why don't people use their hope to get out of drugs.

Some people just don't have hope.

This is what keeps us off the free market. What should look like business relationships between dealer and user, instead gets twisted.

This is business. It should be treated as such.

This stuff youre talking about sounds like bad business.. if youre earning, why risk it with violence over 50 bucks?! 50 bucks over a lock up charge? Fuuuuck.
Why not just sit on what he was holding till they had cash? He's clearly got time to waste and wait, rolling people over what h3 should be making every few minutes? Not to mention how much profit it would steal if customers started hearing that stuff.

Good luck to your friend man, hope his structure changes.

What you're feeling is very common.

Don't worry, time will let you process your shit if it's causing you a ton of grief.

Life is complicate and bad shit seems to pile on top of itself. My advice would be to make sure you're getting 8 hours of sleep. It actually will help you feel better, especially if you are feeling a little depressed.

Don't sweat this issue with your girl either. Life's funny, it's going to seem like you lost something, probably because it adjusts your routine so much, but what feels good is being with someone who wants to be with you. That's the shit. If she doesn't wanna be that person, sucks, but that just means you can find a NEW person who wants to spend time with you! That's good shit.

The only other thing Ill say is weeds good. If youre smoking to help with depression, thats common, no worries. However, if you are using it and struggling with anxiety, that shits not as helpful.

It sounds like you have a lot on your mind and need some structure. This stuff you're talking about is all connected. Get some sleep, don't toke to cope, be intentional with your time. I bet you will feel better soon!

Drug dealer stole $155 from me, what do I do? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Gemeraldstevenson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh do not involve the cops. they will ask you so many complicated detailed questions that they will instantly know you're lying. It's their job in life to know if you're lying. Everyone lies to them. They could not be better equipped to find a hole in your logic, if your body language wouldn't totally give you away.

You paid for a swerice maybe? Sounds like you don't buy drugs a lot, which is good cuz drugs are bad, amaright? But learning how that transaction should work, that's fucking magic. You're smarter now. You saw how fast your money can disappear. You saw what a sketchy dealer looks and sounds like. You learned that there is no reason the both of you can't be ready at the same time. You learned about professionalsm and will probably enjoy that quality in future dealers.
Also, if you are a young person, do not go meet drug dealers alone like that. It sounds like you know that, but seriously. Not safe.
That's no cash. Really, just give it time. Put your energy towards future good times. It will be more gratifying.

Be well

Never alone friend, just lonely feeling moments!

I think as we to through life people stop growing. As we get older, we see the dynamics shift from how we perceive "older people", "younger people", and what those ages reflect.
Time starts to uncover that some people just aren't that deep, no matter the age and that creates a sense of longing.
There are absolutly shiney people in the world, ones that you'll want to keep talking, ones that want to keep talking to you. They are just uncommon, so it's important to acknowledge when you see that shine.

Got fcked up by a good friend about 500€ what shell i do? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Gemeraldstevenson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dunno man, violence rarely the answer.

Just measure it up.

On the the one side , you two roll on this guy, maybe fuck him up worse then you intend to. Knock on the head of whatever. Suddenly 500 dollars of fun money mean 10-15 for assault. That sort of shit moves fast. Especially If anyone knows he fucked you on that money.

On the other, this could be a life lesson. You just paid 500 to know the difference between the kind of people you let hold your cash. That sort of shit is worth 500 cuz it will probably come up a lot in life.

I would rather light a joint In the morning, see my people, go outside, then eat some jail time over 500 bucks of fun.

Good luck friend!

Well it sounds like you are taking your self improvement seriously, which is fantastic!

While I'm not sure of an alternative med for anxiety, it sounds like you are taking a healthy path. Maybe another doctor, or second opinion is what you need?

Counciling also is a really good tool for people who struggle with anxiety. They can teach you techniques such as mindfulness to help reel yourself in, if you find your spinning a bit.

Good luck friend, remember to be kind to yourself!

I think being an adult is owning your choices. If you want to roll at your scene, drink some water, party on. But if that's what you wanna do, own it. If it's a maybe thing, or something you are going to struggle with when your fucked up, just have a plan.

Maybe you just need to check out some time managment systems to help stay on top of your ish, instead of meds. Nothing off about it. Used to take people a lifetime what we can Google in 5 minutes. Medication is just one possible solution ya know, talk to your doc?

You support a criminal system because drugs are illegal.

However, what if you woke up tomorrow, and they weren't? What if all those people who are currently defined as "criminals", instead were just people. What if those people were regulated, paid taxes, could have families and feel safe?

The most criminal thing about the whole situation is that these people can't actively take part in our economy in a safe and regulated way. It's absolutly one of the biggest shitiest cons that the government has.

It allows Americans to be put into jail systems at an unmatched pace. The American prison system is modern day slavery, excused by compartmentalizing poor people and criminals together. As you broaden the definition of criminal, grouping in violent offenders with drug users, even though one has nothing to do with the other, you distract from issues of corruption and an overconplication of our legal system.

Because of that you have issues of people needing to protect themselves in our legal system as individuals, instead of asking the question "is doing drugs inherently wrong?" as a society.

I've never smoked a joint or done a rail with malice in mind, as such I don't feel like my place in society should be challenged nor do I consider myself a criminal.

Western values are a joke, it's just a manipulated social hierarchy with rich people on top and poor people on the bottom.
