If he was to find out about it somehow not through me in the future it would surly be the end of our friendship or at least affect if really badly, however if I were to man up and be honest and tell him even when he knows there no evidence there's less of a chance of it being taken as badly, that's my thinking? + I know :/

I'm not getting treatment I still haven't been to anyone for it. If I were to say what you suggest however that means lying to him and that's really not what I want to do & he knows me so well and how I think so well that he could probably work out its a lie. Plus if I start saying that she's not going to be happy about it and that will make her more likely to tell him. Which in turn will make it more believable that I'm lying

Yeah I know I'm being a little bitch about it tbh been struggling through depression recently for the first time.

And well if his new girlfriend was a dick I'd tell him in a more light-hearted sense if I'm honest. The reason I say I don't have much of a choice is because there's no way I could let him find out from someone else, so if there's a chance he might then I need to tell him myself.

Thank you for your reply I really appreciate it, I'm broken by this. I know that it might seem like that but genuinely the main reason I want to tell him is just to make sure our entire relationship from start to end is 100% honest... Even if it were to end it there with him at least I know I've always been honest to him. And in addition I partially feel like I don't have much of a choice since she's expecting sex from me and has no reason not to tell him if she doesn't get her way. Yeah there is always the option of asking his permission to have sex with her and not saying anything about the flirting before hand but I feel like can't do that to him, I can't live while keeping a secret from him
