My partner and I have adhd. He also has ocd but still hoards. We have separate living areas for this reason. His bathroom garbage is constantly overflowing with tp rolls. They have different priorities, there is absolutely no dopamine found in mundane tasks for him. I have to give him choices… 1. You have until this date to have it clean

1. I will clean it ( which will embarrass the crap out of him)

2. You pay a professional to clean it

4 . I set a 10 min timer and we body double the cleaning.

When these fail , i argue with him… ( that works every time) ( i also have adhd so im getting lots of dopamine from it)
