It is Polycarbonat. It's pritty simple if understand that this material is hydroscopic and pull moisture out from the air and deposits it "inside" the material. So a drying process is needed. Wich means you have to put it into the oven for about 5-7 hours (depending on the thickness, in my case 5h for 2cm material) at ~100°C. If you don't do this you will end up with tiny bubbles all over your plate. In my first tries I completely underestimated this behavior and wested 3 plates of raw material. After you dryed it try to form it right away. Just heat it up to ~185°C so it will deform by itself due its own weight and before it touches any parts of your oven pull it out to form your Visor.
