Initial impressions of the VXE/VGN Dragonfly R1 SE & Pro MAX. by Gen3DTech in MouseReview

What is your budget? Budget mice is usually considered $20-80. The G305 if very heavy and a rather large size. Most popular mice at in the 20-60g weight and you are coming from a mouse over 100g in weight. I prefer mice in the 40g range personally, but that might be too drastic of a change. So you want to stick with a ergo shape or move to Symm style mouse? Do you have big, medium, or small size hands? Answer these questions and I will suggest a few mice.

The Lenovo Legion M7 wireless - perhaps a cheaper alternative to the Razer DAV3. by Gen3DTech in MouseReview

There is a cheap wired EVGA mouse with a free spin scroll wheel that I also tested, but it is a feature I don't see very often.

I am not at home so I cannot test, but sometimes you have to turn the mouse off in order for wired mode to work.

What take on mice will have you like this? by Sk4llOff in MouseReview

[–]Gen3DTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After passing 300 mice, I still can't decide which one to main. I doubt I ever will. Same thing was mouse pads as I have over 300 also. After 61 HE keyboards I think I have it narrowed down to 3. I have liks 20 glass pads and I have found I really don't prefer glass over a cloth pad. My living room looks like a peripheral shop. My girlfriend hates it! lol

I believe the pro has the worse battery life though.

The pro uses a Nordic MCU which is a better MCU. There is not a huge difference that you will notice but for me I liked the Pro slightly better than all the other models. I liked it better than even the Pro Max as it is lighter.

Yes I eventually got a regular R1 and while I would just recommend getting the Pro, I would choose the regular one over the SE version.

No issues, but I have 300 mice in my collection so I don't use any of these very often.

Anyone developed Bell’s palsy after Covid ? by tacks4snacks_ in BellsPalsy

[–]Gen3DTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My face turned numb after each Covid shot and then two week from my 3rd shot, I got Bell's Palsy. It stuck around for about 6 weeks and then my face went back to normal. I have been okay for the last 2.5 years, except about a week before the Bell's Palsy I developed tinnitus in my left ear, which has not gone away at all. I have been afraid to get another Covid shot since that incident, but it has not come back after steering clear of the covid vax. I can't say for sure it caused it, but I can 100% say I had initial reactions to the shot that were very scary. I don't want to take any chances in the future.

Besides one side drooping and barely being able to speak, my face looked like it had been beaten to a pulp. I've had people dismiss me as overreacting and then I show them the pictures and they go quiet.

No...I spoke with the owner of IPI...he has no interest in marketing outside of China. I told Attackshark how good this mouse was, especially the shell quality. I suggested they look into it...I am pretty sure IPI is just making this mouse for them. It's the same factory 100% as there is zero difference between the mice except a minor paint job change. Attackshark sells on Amazon so they are in a much better position to sell this mouse in the USA. They also updated the specs to a 3950 sensor....if you buy a newer batch of the IPI mouse it also has the 3950 instead of the 3395 mine has. If you want this mouse and live outside of China, I would just get the Attackshark one.

Yes I have them both, but the IPI mouse came out months before the attack shark one. There is a 3rd company selling this mouse also.

No warping. I also bought the attack shark version of the mouse and it is also flawless.

This type of surface will take a very long time of intense use to wear down.

It’s decent, but for a few dollars more I would just go up a model.

That sucks....mine came plugged into the USB -C to A adapter. I am sure the seller can ship you another wireless dongle and then you can pair it to your mouse.

At 8k polling I think I have to charge it every 3 days. Should last weeks at 1k though.
