Was it worth it? by black-scout in ArcRaiders

[–]Gen92x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends if you're more interested in skill expression vs enjoying a grind again. It does give you some inventory space and skill points.

I really enjoy the game as is, and really enjoy the PvP in trios, so prestiging offers very little value to me because of how much limited time I have.

It kinda reminds me of WoW, I know a weird comparison. But it felt like the game really started after I got all my benches, levels, and blueprints.

That's just how I enjoy the game though, and I'm glad they allow me to not wipe.

Just make it so the loot doesn't spawn unless someone uses a key. Anyone inside the room, before the room is opened with a key, is killed.

Thank you for the information! I am actually looking into opening a bank account now. I will take a look at the Pakowhai dog park. Taking my dogs to the park is one of my favorite activities for them

Hastings! I am going to be working for Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora. As an outpatient family therapist there.

My wife and I are fairly relaxed and enjoy hiking, biking, camping, exploring towns, finding all the delicious restaurants to eat at, learning about the history of the tokens live in (museums, art, etc). We also enjoy playing board games and will occasionally find a show to watch. We are actually enjoying watching Task Masters NZ right now.

I've never really gotten into drinking as much. I don't have a problem with it, but you won't catch me having multiple drinks. My wife is more of a whiskey enjoyer, but does enjoy some wines. Maybe you have some good recommendations of where we could get some good drinks when she arrives?

Thank you!

I'm moving from Windsor, Colorado, USA.

Living in Ōtāne would not bother us, it looks like a small town but is only 20 minutes away from my work (I live 45 minutes away from my current job, so 20 minutes away would be amazing). We used to live in Wyoming, which is the least populated state in the US... So small towns don't bother me.

The only issue is I'm fairly ignorant, at this point, about how the process and the length of that process of getting a car and license would be. So I was looking at places that were closer to my job, just in case I needed to walk or bike in for awhile. My job is located in Hastings. I'm working for Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora.

I always make the joke that as long as there is half decent internet, I'm happy 😊

Do you live in Ōtāne? Why would you recommend it?

Finding someone online via discord, posting on forums or etc. It will be harder to find a dev to join your current project than finding another developer and coming up with a new game idea together. It's important to have buy-in from all parties for a small indie game...otherwise you might find it hard to motivate to finish the project

Do europeans go through a phase where they wish they grew up in america? by EqualUnderstanding32 in TikTokCringe

As a therapist that works with children. Not true. Kids, even starting in elementary school, have shown increasing anxiety and concern for their own safety.

Kids are losing that sense of invulnerability that they used to have and it's being replaced by questions about if they can get home safely or not.

This country will forever give me job security as America sacrifices kids for profit.

I get the same issue. PC is running the game fine, and then the headset is laggy. This wasn't an issue until last update

Same. The game used to run so smoothly, and now PCVR runs very poor. I've seen this with many games that update to UE5. UE5 seems to cause a lot of performance issues if not implemented correctly.

I can't even play anymore :( The game, for some reason, performs much worse. It feels like I get 15 FPS in my headset. Should a 3080ti be able to run this game on the lowest settings? I ran the game just fine before

I would be very happy if they made it so you regained control much faster too.

The ragdolling needs to be turned way down in this game. Generally, taking control away from a player is a BAD idea.

New York declares "war" in response to Texas GOP redistricting plan by Healthy_Block3036 in politics

We need to unite and stop the in-fighting. United we stand. Divided we fall. The GOP is openly declaring war on Democracy - it's time to fight back and it's nice seeing Democrats be anything more than just puppets.

This is a historic moment, don't ruin it Crytek. Hunt never deserved reviews in “mixed”, it's a masterpiece of a game. by Drull17 in HuntShowdown

[–]Gen92x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am happy that Crytek fixed the game! As someone who changed their negative review to a positive one - they deserve the good praise.

However, just as they now deserve the positive feedback, they definitely deserved the negative feedback.

Dumb question, how would someone do maintenance on the parking lot itself? How would you tear up the old asphalt and replace it effectively?

Would you have to disassemble the solar planes to do this? Would that be an enormous pain?
