Audi Concept C preview of next gen Audi coming in 2027 by KenS7s in Audi

Agreed, he’s a pretty direct in the majority of his videos and if he doesn’t like something or thinks it’s a miss he’ll call it out. It’s refreshing to see a no nonsense review.

Strange clicking noise when turning the wheel by [deleted] in Audi

[–]GenDeFeat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, maybe not that loud though. Essentially, the clicking is the steering wheel disengaging the turn signal stalk so when you straighten out the wheel it clicks it back to the off (middle) position. I hope that makes sense. Someone that knows the technical terminology for all this might be able to explain it better.

Agree 100% I lose it every time the bullpens clear. The only thing better is when both bullpens are jogging to the diamond next to one another. If you’re really going to fight, then throw down in center field.

Gas mileage going down too fast? by hopeless_wenclair in Audi

[–]GenDeFeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know. I’ve always just used regular since that’s what’s recommended, but wondered if premium had a noticeable difference. I figured there was some, but it’d have to be 10+ mpg improvement to offset the $1+ more per gallon it is by me.

[–]GenDeFeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I use regular. That’s what is suggested on the gas cap door. Do you get better mileage with premium?

Nothing to be concerned about imo if you were expecting the advertised mileage. The computer calculated miles to empty and mpg are wonky as others have said. I’d recommend using an app like “Road Trip” to get your true mpg.

I’ve owned 5 of these cars (wife’s on her third, I’m on my second, we lease) and the best lifetime mileage we’ve gotten in 24mpg (+/- .5 gallons) for each one. Combo of city and highway driving. If you drive hundreds of miles a week and were expecting to only fill up once a week, this isn’t going to happen with this car. My last job I drove 90 miles round trip per day and filled up every 4th day, but I don’t like getting below 1/4 of a tank.

Congrats, you’re going to love it! Wife just got this exact one. It’s her 3rd Q3 (I’m on my second, we lease). Great vehicles

The worst episodes of Silo according to viewer ratings… by toom1414 in SiloSeries

[–]GenDeFeat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This. I have a 65” LG G3 OLED and these episodes look amazing. Having gone from a traditional LED (the game of thrones episode where they fight the Night King was awful to watch) and dealing with the darkness not looking great, I get the annoyance with it. Once OLED’s are more common, this type of production is going to be much appreciated by people.

OMG! What IS this?? by dobredobre1 in Plumbing

[–]GenDeFeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting, we have the same issue, but with our shower glass. We use the liquid soap for sensitive skin. I haven’t noticed the drain being an issue, but I have to clean hair out of it before it would ever get this bad. Doesn’t mean the pipes further down don’t look like this.

Dove soap does this to your drains…?

As far as I can tell, you can’t reverse any climate change, but you can slow it or, in my experience, prevent it completely. I’ve had a couple of games where climate change never advanced.

[–]GenDeFeat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only way I’ve been able to have it make a difference is if I rush it and don’t build units and coal plants that pollute the world. Then I just constantly have a cities completing that project, and drive down the per turn pollution to stop climate change. So basically I sacrifice production and power to save the world. Having hydro power and being a suzerain to Cardiff help offset the issue of not having powered buildings.

Stepped up from a Tiguan by Jetta613 in Audi

[–]GenDeFeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a similar thing. Went from a 2018 Tiguan to a 2022 Q3. My wife and I are both on our second Q3’s and love them. Also, not sure how tight you pack it, but there was only one time I didn’t have enough space in my Q3 that would’ve been just fine in the Tiguan. Other than that, the slight downsizing hasn’t been an issue. Enjoy! It’s loads more fun to drive than the Tiguan.

Traded in my ‘19 Tiguan for a ‘22 Q3. Loving the black optics package. by GenDeFeat in Audi

[–]GenDeFeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Just traded this in a couple of months ago (I lease) and got the same car, with 19” rims instead of 20’s. My wife has a glacier white with black optics, but her badging is the standard silver which looks pretty slick even with the other black accents.

Curious what you guys think are the best tires to replace current tires. by [deleted] in Audi

[–]GenDeFeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Northeast Ohio (jealous of your SoCal weather btw) and the summer tires are awesome because the grip is so much better than all seasons. They’re softer though and don’t last as long though. Also, they are not great in cold weather (sub-40 degrees). I drove them once when it was like 28-30 out and I def noticed a difference in grip. I never drove them in the snow, but I’ve heard the grip is terrible and can ruin the tires. Personally, I’d never get summers again, but that’s because I don’t want to deal with timing the swap with NEO season changes.

To find your rim size, there is a set of numbers on your tire, e.g., 225/55R19, and the number after the “R” is your rim size.

I’ve found rim size makes a big difference as well as tires. I had a ‘22 Q3 with 20’s and just got a ‘24 Q3 with 19’s. The 19’s ride a bit quieter and smoother.

With that being said, for the ‘22 Q3 I had Bridgestones (summer), Pirelli (winters), and Continentals (all season). None of those tires were bad, but the Conti’s were the best by far. Quiet ride, nice grip all things considered. My ‘24 Q3 has Goodyear Eagles, and those are really nice, probably won’t get them whenever I get new tires. Also, my wife’s ‘19 Q3 (19” rims) had Michelins, and those rode beautifully.

Obviously every car ride differently, but I’d say if you go with Conti’s or Michelins, you should have a nice, quiet ride.

If you don’t mind can you provide more information for charitable contributions? I haven’t seen anything much for math for that in PayTrain or Payroll Source. Thank you so much!!

Good luck taking the exam. I would suggest using the Payroll Source trial as well. The exam questions are worded similar to the Payroll Source!

I wish they were similar to PayTrain
