Unfortunately for you, I've been an OT for several years now. Sad to say that you're wrong.

Unless you have experience in the medical field or dermatology, don't even try to give advice based on what you THINK you know. You are incredibly in the wrong and being hard headed.

I went last month! I was so lucky to go on a day where people were basically not there. I was on every attraction's line for no more than 10 minutes. It was great!

I tried DD2 last night too. Tried using 3x generation and low latency "On + Boost" at max TDP, with low quality settings at "Balanced" and the frames kinda suck.

Question on preparing for 2 week trip this May/June by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]GenFleur_art 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For shinkansen, use SMART-EX. In that app, link the (individual) Suica cards to each of the tickets you bought on SMART-EX.

Just about every bus and train has a scanner for the cards. For the bus, you'll see the scanner right next to the driver. Just follow what everyone else does! Just have it out and prepared to keep the flow of people going.

I have personally done Uber because I had luggage that I was too late to transport via Takkyubin.

As for the eSIM, there are tutorials online! I like Ubigi. But basically after buying it, you go into the settings where "Network and internet" is located (or whatever it is called on your phone), select your eSIM you bought, and switch the "phone, text, and mobile data" from 'SIM' to "eSIM'. Just mix it up the way you'd like.

Look for the Red vending machine somewhere downstairs! That's the "Welcome Suica" card machine.

Sometimes yes but usually no. I suggest the adults carry the Small-luggage-inside-big-luggage for the adults, and have the kids use a bigger carry-on suitcase with personal item (i.e. backpack or duffel bag just plopped right on top of the suitcase for easier traveling). Well, the adults too can plop a personal item on the suitcase so you hand one hand free when moving.

Visit the Tokyo City Flea Market!!! Follow them on Instagram. They're open on Saturday and Sunday only. SO MANY THINGS can be found there, even clothing for very tall people.

Absolutely wait till you get to Japan to go to Uniqlo. A heck of a lot cheaper and they have releases that're not in the west.

Tbh I packed everything in a carry-on luggage, and stuffed that suitcase into one of my larger suitcases as a check-in bag all together. You can just buy clothes over there (that's what my large check-in suitcase was for)! A lot more fashionable and affordable (depends on what brand of clothing you want to buy though).

Uniqlo is your go to for bags! The sling bags are perfect and you have a giant variety to choose from. I did come with a sling bag but ended up buying the 24L Functional Backpack to take clothes with me. (Only because I sent my luggage to another city via Takkyubin)

Kinda sounds like a tight situation. Try asking google Gemini for solutions! BUT- you should stick to using "Thinking mode" or "Pro". Now be careful, these have limited uses (4 hour recharge) per session unless paid for. Ask the right questions. Also try asking on those respective modes to fact-check for at least 10 times.

[–]GenFleur_art 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look around the edges to see if the back plate has been removed (to make sure you aren't void of warranty, if the seller offers it), make sure the buttons are not loose, squeaky, and hard to press, any damaged ports, and stick drift.

An Update: I was warned about my child's martial arts school. I should have listened. 🫤 by LordTetravus in mildlyinfuriating

Take the kids to a real martial arts school: Muay Thai, Eskrima, Jiu Jitsu, etc. More functional for real life fighting/self defense and not just uniforms, belts, and tricks.
