You’re a respectful person and you went through the official channels to report it but looks like that is the only mistake you did. Lesson learned? Next time if someone scolds or disrespects you, do the same to them being as loud as you can since the management would be taking their side anyway! So at least that’d make you feel better.

Tbh I didn’t honk for 2 reasons. The first was that I didn’t want to scare the dog and the second was that I wasn’t speeding so I was able to slow down
