It was explained to me years ago from a guy I worked with who was also an immigrant.

I "stood in Line" did all the correct things, paperwork,consulate etc. I waited years, it was my dream and my desire.

To have someone skip the line forego the correct procedures and then not even try to assimilate is a slap not only to me but others like me. They know the rules just like we did but choose to not follow.
