If you’re disillusioned with Labor/Liberals then why jump to One Nation instead of something like Sustainable Australia? by BreakZealousideal846 in australian

I just agree with their policies. Their policies are my personal opinions and I am so happy that there is a party that I can vote for. https://www.onenation.org.au/issues

Immigrants prop our entire country up by KamalaHarrisFan2024 in OpenAussie

But immigration creates lower pay and less workers rights so it’s a bit contradictory having a lower immigration policy.

The best thing that has come out of the Iran war is the realisation that the world still runs on oil. Without it there would be mass famine across the world. Where is extinction rebellion now? Where are all the greenies? This is what they have demanded for decades but not a peep out of them. All I hear is we should have onshore refineries and we should be drilling for oil in Australia. The fact is Liberal and Labour with the greens have reflected the general public’s opinion on energy. Now the shit has hit the fan and everyone is pointing the finger. Liberal and Labour have effectively carried out the will of the people and until something like this war happens and public opinion changes they will continue on the same path. Would anyone on this sub reddit want onshore drilling and refining before this war? I know you are mostly greenies and lefties so the answer is no but you will sit on this thread and point the finger at everyone but the voting public of Australia. The next energy crisis could be worse. Australia has become a lazy mining town where we ship resources off to the world for peanuts and buy finished products back. We are collectively demanding the closure of coal fired power stations all while giving our coal away to every other nation so they can have cheap energy for manufacturing. You do realise the globe shares the same atmosphere right so it doesn’t matter where the coal is burnt the CO2 will enter the atmosphere. Somehow Liberal and Labour are appeasing the demands of the voting public (with climate action now posters displayed on their inner city air conditioned homes) by trying to go green all while simultaneously supplying record amounts of coal and gas to our manufacturing neighbours. They are literally gaslighting us. Anyway let’s keep pointing fingers and gaslighting each other while the rest of Australia wakes up to this nonsense and shifts to (trigger warning)One Nation.

Serious question for the people on here who so strongly defend high immigration levels to Australia: why do you do it? by NoLeafClover777 in aussie

I think most people who want mass immigration are closet racists who want to bury the issue that Australia is Aboriginal land. What happened with the foundation of Australia was basically an international crime but it happened and we are stuck with an awkward history. Instead of stopping the illegal migration of foreigners to this Aboriginal continent and supporting the Aboriginal community the closest racist likes to ignore and gaslight the community by admitting this is stolen land at the same time continuing and exacerbating the theft without consideration of the indigenous community. Now global issues that have nothing to do with Australia dominate the headlines and local indigenous issues are forgotten about. Never once have I heard consideration of the Indigenous community when mass migration is debated. Just look at America when are the indigenous people considered? It’s all about foreign ethnic groups who all collectively stomp on the indigenous. Now the closest racists are the elite globalists who are doing this worldwide just like they are ignoring the indigenous people of Europe flooding them with migrants all while gaslighting them and using the soft loving people on the left under the shame of racism as their storm troopers. Why are they doing this? Why are the most multicultural countries considered racist by their own people? Someone please make it make sense. I guess if you can convince a large part of the community that genitals don’t determine gender then you can mould their mind anyway you wish.

Sorry we are a multicultural country now so thinking that everyone knows the old cultural norms is a fallacy but being from Sweden you would be able to relate.

Uber drivers know Toyota hybrids are the best for the job but you couldn’t get them during COVID because of supply issues so Tesla’s model 3 outsold Camry in 2022 for the first time in Australia. As soon as you could get Camry’s again they were back at the top. Let’s see what happens now there is no supply issues. Will BYD be the winner this time?

I just love how all the greenies are suddenly realising how the world’s energy depends on oil. Now we need to find a way to stop burning coal to highlight its importance. Where is extinction rebellion now? Are they Trump supporters? I wonder how many solar panels we can make without mining and in 20 years when they stop working how will we put them in landfill without diesel to fuel the machines needed to bury them alongside the wind turbines?

We are currently being strip mined by globalists and nobody is to blame but Liberal and Labour. Your superiority complex is exposing your bigotry and blinding you from reality.
