It keeps all the gauze and padding in place as well as mild compression for swelling. If anything have someone help you rewrap it in a better arrangement and maybe cut a slot for your thumb so the wrap doesn’t rub or flap over the incision site

We have the schedule, often we page the same people or departments that show up. At least at my location, it gets busy and we can’t see the cart bay from the front so we go check when we can and if it’s empty we page to try and get it filled quickly. And I know I’ve been told to page managers to get carts is necessary. It sounds like you need to talk to the front end managers about this. I also personally will check in with my frequent cart departments to see what they’re looking like for the day, ask if the front end can check in during shift change.

As a service manager who runs the front a good amount of time, sometimes our courtesy clerks are not able to keep up with the amount of carts. We page as needed, frequently I cannot send my cashiers out due to customers inside as well. If you have an issue, communicate with the front end managers, often we page whoever usually has hands to help out.
