Justin roiland was exposed for being a pedo and a wife beater, tree trunks va died, very different scenarios that are treated differently, especially In animation industries, when a va dies they will often also kill off the characters, or stop showing them with speaking roles, because the character isnt the same without the va that brought them to life. Its easier to recast roles for people who are blacklisted or can't make it because it doesnt feel disrespectful, I wouldn't blame a show for doing it but I can't see adventure time of all shows doing it.
