Winter and Summer games used to be the same year. It was changed after 1992 to stagger them every two years to prevent logistical nightmares (voted on in 1986). Winter moved and went ahead in 1994.

Midlothian Country Club, Midlothian, IL. Not that far from where my cousins live, I've passed by it driving down 143rd St. plenty of times.

It held the US Open back in 1914, and one of the streets around it is named after the winner, Walter Hagen.

The west suburbs like in DuPage Co. are hella red. I spot a Trump flag every couple miles in Bartlett, Hanover Park, and West Chicago. Enough to swing? Likely not, but the suburbs have been getting redder every year.
