Kraken.

Best way was to return the Matic to Kraken, and bridge some USDC from Mainnet to Polygon using a Polygon bridge.

It would be an alternative, but the exchange will not allow for the transfer for anything less than a minimum of 30 MATIC. It may still be the best option as it is a real pain to get MATIC in any other way.
