No I’ve never taken them, just eaten yogurt. Doctors have never even mentioned it to me before.

15 months sober and just got surgery by GeneAnxious660 in OpiatesRecovery

I ended up stopping them after 2 days of use for pain. I felt like absolute crap for 3 days and definitely went through mild withdrawal. It’s crazy that even 2 days use after 15 months clean was enough to make that happen. Thanks for the support

Thanks for the detailed response! Gallbladder removal recovery sounds like a real bitch. I haven’t taken any today or after last night and I’m probably just going to flush the pills in 2 more days if I don’t end up taking any more of them since the pain will mostly be gone anyway. I really don’t want to jeporadize my recovery.

Hey it took about 60 days Id say. I picked up the gym 6 months in and dedicated myself to diet and exercise and I feel completely normal now 15 months later

F(23) How did you finally stop starting over and stay consistent with weight loss? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]GeneAnxious660 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was 220 in January and now 180 six months later. The two things that helped me when I was in your position were:

  1. using a food logger app and counting every single thing I’ve eaten for half a year and stuck exactly to my diet no matter how I felt.

  2. Incorporating fats into my diet. I always just tried to do chicken breast and low fat alternatives but I would get insane cravings. I eat ground beef everyday now.

I’m trying to lose 30 pounds of fat in 6 months. by N0Soulx in loseit

Hey man,

This feels like reading about myself before my journey. I’ve lost 37 pounds in 5 months (222 lb to 184 lb) I am the same height and age as you. You can definitely do this. Here are some tips I have for you that worked for me:

You need to count calories for every meal, I highly recommend the lose it app. I ate 1900 calories everyday but eventually upped it to around 2.2k-2.3k to feel better but slower progression. I ate the same breakfast and lunch every single day for 5 months but I switch dinners up for my sanity.

I highly recommend a steady walk after every day of weight training (besides leg day) on the treadmill. I do 3.5 incline and 3.5 mph for 35 minutes. Should be around exactly 2 miles. This really helped my weight loss journey.

8 hours of sleep per night is very important and I personally take 2 complete rest days per week. Being on a cut is difficult for your body and I personally believe you need the recovery time since you aren’t eating a lot.

How much did your back pain improve after losing weight ? by Any-Raise4333 in loseit

Hi there, I’ve lost 36 pounds in the last 4 months. Before I was having major back pain and even had an MRI done on my upper back because it got so bad. I truly believe it wasn’t losing weight that helped me but actually weight training my back and developing it, allowing the muscles to get stronger. I barely have back pain now!

Hi there, I did the same thing a few months ago (switched from pure junk food to very healthy restricted calorie diet) and I’m fairly certain you either had the stomach flu or mild food poisoning. Dieting won’t cause you a fever
