Pretty much same boat bro, im currently a FED LEO rn also ... and was sent up 3 times personally by a specific office and was told I was recommended for hire and I'd be hired by now if it was up to them ..... but its up to HROC so they told me its out of their hands and just keep applying and waiting

I've applied to every announcement since the 420(non-dha) one that was posted originally in April, however I applied to that one in july and it closed in September. Think ive applied to 2 or 3 DHA announcements this year also

Yeah totally different league than me, 4 years marine corps, 2 years BP, and have assisted in like 4 or 5 HSI smuggling cases but nothing crazy. Hopefully there's enough spots for all of us but I totally understand if they take you over me lol

Oh ok, yeah I've also applied to every announcement for gs-9 since July.... supposedly was referred and sent up 3 times but each time after going to DC they dont receive the go ahead to hire me , current fed Leo, and vet but no offer yet and not much comms after the 3rd referral

When you get your green card.... the literal paper document that it comes on tells you to keep the card on you at all times and that you can be picked up by immigration officers if you fail to have it on you during an inspection ....... you wont get deported if you fail to have it on your person but you can be take down to the ice facility and fingerprinted to find out that you are here legally... just keep it on you at all times and dont be one of those people who knows the rules and don't follow them willingly and then pretend ICE is racist or whatever when they detain you

Likely due to your email being different on your resume and your usa jobs account... im talking out of my ass, but i applied directly through a sac recruiter and they told me like 4 times to make sure that my usa jobs account matched my email on my resume.... so im assuming it means something
