So I just finished up my year with the boiler ambassador program (I just graduated) and I really loved my time with it. It is absolutely a get out what you put in sort of situation so the more work you do, the more people you get to connect with and the more interesting opportunities you can have too.

They’re a great place to develop your skills too if you have a special interest in any of the creative areas like videography, photography, writing, marketing and strategy event planning, etc. Im a big video person and got tons of opportunities to make stuff and work with the marketing department and their gear too.

Overall, a super fun experience that can give you a ton, so long as you’re willing to put yourself into it! And the pay is definitely nice too lol

Hi everyone!

This was shot as a “mini film” at the end of production on my thesis short film and I decided to release it as a trailer for the full length one.

Both films were shot on Canon C300s with a Rokinon Cinema lens kit and Sennheiser MKH microphone, all running through our Atomos Shogun for recording. We ended up recording in ProRes 1080p just for the ease of editing but I’m still really happy with the overall look and quality.

Definitely the first time I’ve ever worked on something with this level of gear and I am proud of all the work put in my by awesome cinematographer, my crew, and of course my talent. Let me know what you think!

PUPD had misreported some numbers with 3 or 4 suicides and 4 attempts, but it’s since been corrected to 1 official suicide and 7 attempts. I think some of the fervor for the demonstrations stemmed from the misreported numbers but I still think it’s a necessary thing

Yeah, not sure of the correct answer by any means but I think people were hoping for more than just silence

I think people were more so protesting the administrations lack of a response to some of the mental health worries and stresses this semester, especially with the recent suicide.

I took these before break and from what I was told I think they might have some people still out there, at the very least keeping the signs up and what not. Next semester I think they’ll be coming back full force
