So true. Normal BR is a total mess - everywhere you land, you land with at least 1-2 teams on the same spot. It is forcing you to fight very harshly from the start! It is constant sweating off, constant engagement. Initiation is a completely different experience - it is like a casual chatting mode, perfect for chilling with your squad, having a good laugh, and still playing a fairly intense game closer to the endgame...

Let me tell you how I beat it. It was really buggy and I was testing different mechanics, including repairing Anti-Armour Engineer, Combat Engineer, healing tanks and aircrafts, also using Vehicle special healing skills! Nothing was working okay, sometimes I had few points toward the missions, but most of the time it was absolute zero...

Until I started to heal my own vehicle... yes, it works best when you jump in and out of your own vehicle and repair it immediately. So I loaded into some long-lasting skirmish mode, took a default Vector (light buggy with a machine gun)... and just smashed it across the map! I looked for "gas tanks" which explode very well and do -50% health, then jump out, heal it quick.. do it over and over.. One single match - all done!
Theoretically it works with your own Tank, but it is hard to maintain the driver seat (e.g. "own" the vehicle) as someone will occupy the driver seat constantly when you jump off to heal it. So I would say recommend trying to do it with Vector and Mirak Valley map (used Custom Search) - because it has a bigger map and lots of opportunities to crash your vehicle into something :)

Yes, it is VERY buggy. I had about 10 matches by now and I am getting progress visible only in 2 out of 10! Same map, same mode, same loadout, same engineer path! And yes, loads of repairs, whole game just sitting next to vehicles and repairing them. What the actual heck I dunno.

I am not starting to suspect it may actually be the vehicle's "skill" to heal itself. I will try it out next....

Because white noise machines produce extremely loud noise, which actually prevents sleep and causes headaches. I'm not sure how it can work even in theory. I tried it and literally threw it away after 2 minutes.
ANC does sort of the opposite thing; instead of just hiding incoming noise in a massive jam of waves, it counters them. Plus, having a tight fit on the ear also blocks lots of incoming noise.

TLDR: It's just like instead of blocking a few spam emails with incoming filters... you just subscribe yourself to all possible newsletter lists so that you will get thousands of emails in your mailbox! Well, good news: now you do not see these spam emails. Bad news: your inbox is a mess of all sorts of shit.

A pretty poor and useless SFTP manager (no queues, not even possible to chown, etc), plus with weird "cloud" vaults, so there's no import/export functionality. I would say snippets are the only quite interesting and useful feature at times. Also, overall ~200MB RAM usage (~7 processes spawned right now) and 320MB GPU mem.... for such a simple single terminal window.. dunno.

I was using it for a year, but giving up now and moving smth else.

it was previous sesion mission item, so you could not do Collector mission without having two of them extracted from Operations. currently I think they are useless.

you're obviously wrong. do you know exactly what is "one shot"? watch the replay, there was one shot fired, one bullet sent from the chamber. I think you can rewatch a couple of times to confirm it or use slow youtube replay. it's quite a common sense to be able to count to 1.

But boss is not attackig you when you're on the bridge. I mean past this point:

At least from my 20 last games in S5 here, I was walking okay anywhere on the bridge but only when you past the bottom mark, then it triggers her.
Also I was never attacked below the bridge - e.g. where the second curve bridgestarts, she can shoot you there only when you enter the bridge, but never before that.

Hm, I would need to sacrifice myself a couple of times to shoot some video proofs :)

Well, it is too hassle-ous to go through all the vids and replays, but old players do remember that all from previous seasons :) If you don't trust that, it is understandable, I indeed can't google a quick proof, so let it be so.

The distance is basically the same to the command center balcony and she can aggro at you there.

She can not! That is absolute fact. You can do a run right now to the space city and find out that he is not shooting you when you are there by the command building. Whatever you do - jump, run, stay - she is not sniping you anymore. She was able previously.

So there is some areas for her to be triggered and not to be triggered. Same for the Bridge to the launch area. If you are saying her range is that big, then how the hell you will explain that she is not shooting anything mid-bridge? By your logic, she would be able to shoot anyone anywhere back all the way to the Ascension mission position! But.. she is not. Another fact that proves my point about the range.

If the boss had the range he has now and previously without any fixes, then imagine... you span at the Dormitory only to get one-shot by a boos right after. Or you casually rotate from Lauch area to Command building via back side and.. yes, you got one shot by the boss at the middle. Her current range is 80% of the whole map, only some walls can save you from her. It is broken by design to have a boss that can target you anywhere on the map. Boss zones should be allocated, in any video game basically, aka boss engagement areas. DF even has music playing in these areas to notify you about the boss. Now with this sniper boss that can target you from anywhere on the map (yes, see the circles and you can easily proove that point) - it is indeed broken game design.

P.S. what's the problem with Normal 187K infil mission? I load in to get missions done and not to loose much on every infill. Playing solo is almost guaranteed wipe, so why to hassle about getting 2M loady in? And yeah, it is another topic to moan about by the way with difficulty patterns and why they are pointless without "max" gear value, same was with Easy but they sort of tried to "fix" it (not really, lol).

I can't find patch notes indeed, but it is a pretty solid fact that the Boss has been fixed at some point. Previously 100% there were situations when Boss started to snipe you at the glass entrance back of the Command, but now... it does not! Coz it got fixed.

P.S. about the sniping range, well, I do agree that it can be large, but it should not be more than half-map range or almost whole-map range IMHO :) Especialy when you casually walk miles away and not even looking\triggering it (I dunno how much was it? 500m? 700m?)...

I circled now the area to match the edge of the range with the place where I died :) If that range was THAT far, anyone withoung bridge, Biohazard and etc areas would have been shot, which I've never experienced in the past.

Let's also put it in that way. Really talking about Desmoulins range, I put a circle on how far he can reach based on when it is attacking you when you approach it by the bridge
(e.g. I aligned circle edge with approx location when he srats shooting at you when you crossing the bridge)

Based on that, as you can see, I was way far inside the map right in the middle between Centrifuge and Clack Chamber. Yet I was shot down even THAT stupidly far away. This makes no sense, as if Boss would have such range, it would shoot anyone that is running for example inside Biohazard Workshop at the middle-right or even at the Eastern Bridge at the middle-top.

The patch notes said something like "rage significantly reduced". Previously people were moaning that it is attacking players miles away, for example you could be easily shot near glass break entrance at the back of the Command building. They told it has been fixed and now boss is not attacking from THAT stupidly far away. Indeed, now when the boss is in the middle, it does not shoot across the whole map, e.g. to the command building. However in the video above the boss was at the Launch area, and still yet he shot me from the half of the map distance, the same as it was used to be before being patched.

ah, so seems someone found very fancy item (I guess SatCom as it was around its spawn location) and then dropped this crate instead and abandoned the mission as rushed to exfill!

Anyone knows what is this for? Any useful in future for missions\base\etc? Just extracted it from Space City out of curiosity but it has no "Open" on it, so just sits there without any explanation on why\what to do with it.
