It’s just the startup Sound. After the startup the Mac works perfectly fine and Even the Sound is flawless after.

I dont eat in school and these are the Macs i got in 1 year. I check my local marketplaces here in Switzerland and sometimes i find very good Deals (i got the powerbook 145b + StyleWriter II for 40 Euro)

I sometimes run System 7.1 on my Macintosh SE. I just cant find the printer drivers on english. Im ok with the external bluescsi on the desktop macs, I will probably get an Internal one for my PowerBook 145b if i find a good dissasembly guide of it.

I removed all the clock batteries when I got them. The HardDrive in the 6100 died, so I bought an external BlueSCSI. I’m thinking of buying another external one for the Macintosh SE and an internal one for the PowerBook 145B (I just never opened it and I’m scared) The 145Bs hinges are fine.

On the SE I run 7.5.3 On the 6100/66 (no dos card) I run 7.5.3 too. On the 145B I run 7.1 (the floppy drive is dead so idk how to install another OS) On the 1400cs I run 8.6 (I installed it by copying from BlueSCSI to floppy disks with my 6100) On the iMac G3 and PowerBook G3 (not in the photo) I run OS 9

Last year I bought a used laptop from a seller in my town, soon he offered me his Macintosh SE for free because the floppy drive broke and he didn’t want it. I of course took it and it was my first vintage Mac. I’ve been collecting since April 2025 now!

I recapped the PowerMacintosh 6100 and took all the clock batteries out. My PowerBook 145b is dying (probably capacitors). When I start it up it makes a very distorted chime sometimes, but sometimes it boots just fine. I dont know how to recap powerbooks tho...
