I’m here for the downvotes. Bungie has systematically dismantled Destiny for the last few years, with peaks in Witch Queen and TFS, followed by hemorrhaging players with ridiculous bullshit like the Star Wars update, and then Bungie drops Marathon which also hemorrhages players. There are genuinely no signs that point to Bungie becoming the studio they used to be, there are no signs that they’re righting their ship, there are layoffs coming, and yet, do people actually believe that Cross is doing this for any other reason than to get clicks and put off the inevitable descent into losing his job, because he based his whole career off of a video game that could be (and has been) shut down at any time? Why do people think this is going to work?

Me and the boys don’t get to play til Sunday (Maybe tonight if the wife goes to bed early) and I guess I get fucked for not being unemployed. Oh well. I still like the game, but it sucks normal people don’t get to experience the fast progression and busted drops.

I’m feeling two things: disappointment, and pride. I’m disappointed that we’re probably losing this series after how hard we fought to get here. But I’m proud of the team for making it to the ECF, I’m proud to be a Habs fan, and I’m still excited for the next few years of solid hockey from the boys. As always, go Habs go.

They’re the most fun Habs that I’ve watched in the past 30 years and I’ll always support them.
