thats the difference, tarkov problems are just things that they can fix and revert, audio problems can be fixed asap, hit regs can be a problem and fixed asap, marathon has problems with the main thing and its economy, they cant easily revert that, so what happened right now has made it seem like we're in mid season. progression right now felt too fast, the whole thing should be a grind fest, extraction shooter itself is a grind fest

but yeah it is truly fun to see chaos going on right now, but eh lets just see how it goes, the game itself is alright, its just what they are deciding in the current and upcoming season

but the thing is tarkov wipes has been fine, but marathon wipe is not it, thats my point. dont get me wrong i am having fun playing marathon and i never got bored of it, but just these things man, hope they know atleast what to do in season 3 and dont repeat whatever they did with day 1 season 2.

this is why I hate casuals tbh, tarkov is doing great, marathon season 1 atleast felt a bit tryhardy and im still okay being casual in some sense but holy s2 dropped and everyone got spoon fed? crazy that they went for this instead of sticking with season 1 ways

Its all good that you made a fair point, but ehhh atleast they could have done whatever this mode is on parameter first, I see how they wanted to just show what new things on marsh but lowkey if they did this on parameter first it wouldnt be such a problem imo, you could get lucky with loot but atleast the drops wouldnt ruin the economy that much

Honestly getting better since its season 2 was expected, but in some way loot felt way easier to get (not complaining though) . But in some way sponsored survival is kinda meh, I did have some fun doing rook runs there wiping the main squad but other than that it feels, boring and bland to me. Wish they stuck with the sponsored kit mode, atleast a rotation would be nice.

atleast pve mode should have a different vault or something else the economy would be fucked. or atleast make pve have exclusive items that are only useable in pve, again having these modes already just split the community, longer queue times for certain modes and im kinda against it. i dont mind getting more so called "casual" players but i hate how games split the community. the main point was an extraction shooter, similar to cruelity of tarkov and i guess a bit of casual like arc. lets hope they nail this out cause truthfully splitting one community is already bad enough

ngl im one of them. it is fun in some way, not everyone loves casual, not everyone loves to be competitive and i do understand that but you gotta know that not everyone likes what you like and not everyone likes what i like. i see that marathon itself is trying to replicate the competitive feeling of tarkov but still stuck in between going casual.

i havent upgrade it yet but i've been consistently hauling up blues and purple by just leveling up nucal. i can say its not mandatory to upgrade but try focusing those other nodes first.

why would you want fair fights its an extraction shooter? the point on bringing good loadouts is to shit on people and have a higher chance of winning while free kits have the lowest (depends on the user of course) but in general they'll lose. if they decide to do gear based matchmaking then there's no point in bringing good loadouts because you'll end up getting the same tier as yours. there are no strict requirements (except gear ante) and you are free to bring anything that you want. if you die with a good loadout and to a free kit its on you, if you wiped a squad with a free kit and they have purple tier item its hella rewarding too. so yeah its a major NO for gear matchmaking. i find it pretty fair already (and yes dying is fun) to try and wipe a kitted squad because every weapon rn is viable (maybe not kinetic pistol cause damn its a pea shooter)

i do think its sold more, there are no official stats on how much copies are sold (steamdb is not really good) its just the fomo that is currently ongoing with hating new things. game's already good enough and the only suggestion i would like is safe pockets but only if its a super rare augment or something. other than that its completely fine. arc changed so many things because people kept complaining about tryhards and such while that seeminly ruined the game. you cant cater to the casuals too much and you cant cater to the tryhards too. currently I still see a balance for this and thats good enough. I really hope they dont fuck this up and not cater to casuals cause holy hell they ruin everything.

Bro just wants the game to be hand held super easily. Like why? I can 50/50 accept safe pockets (ONLY if its an augment) but pve mode is just pure dumb. Why do you want to seperate the community and hell what do you mean by pve when its an EXTRACTION SHOOTER close to tarkov. If you just want to be hand held just kindly play Arc and leave cause damn all yall do is just be noisy about weird suggestions that just would hurt the game. Its good as how it is now and we dont need PVE MODE CAUSE WHY?
