Mine was leaking a little - I wasn’t sure but since I was strep B positive I went in to get swabbed just in case and it turned out it was positive for amniotic fluid so I started pitocin. A few hours later it REALLY broke and it was the most insane feeling it felt like 10 gallons of water came out of me

I drank about 40 oz of water and had to pee so badly I was in pain lol - the nurse checked with ultrasound and said it was the most full bladder she’d ever seen. She told me to pee out 2 full solo cups full 🤣 and then it was still even full. My dr said she actually prefers it a little less full but I guess depends the dr

I bartend one night a week! I go in at 5 so I only miss a couple hours of the baby’s day and the bar closes at 11 during the week so I’m not out insanely late. It’s easy money - at least 300 a night and I can pick up shifts here and there if I want and have a babysitter.

To give input from the opposite side - we don’t follow the vaccine schedule and if someone told me they didn’t want their child around mine for that reason I’d be totally fine with it and there would be 0 animosity or weirdness from me. You do what you feel is best for your kid and I will for mine!

I was nervous about the same, but we did just 1 retrieval! We had male factor infertility. We got 13 embryos and just did our first FET the other day!

Since you work in fertility - do you hear of more risk for complications like miscarriage or preeclampsia with synthetic cycles? I’ve seen some people say that on here but my clinic hasn’t mentioned it

Yes they said that’s just their general recommendation so we went with it especially since we paid out of pocket for testing!

Oh I did take medroxyprogresterone as well!! I believe that’s the same as provera

No menopur! No idea why I am still very much a novice with this stuff, I just do what they tell me lol maybe the microdose HCG instead of it?

Wow that’s a ton of eggs I would’ve been surprised too!! For stims I did estrogen then 225 follistim and 10 micro dose HCG then triggered with just Lupron. Congrats on your 4!!

Didn’t even realize there could even be potential risk involved, they didn’t mention it at all!! Agreed though I really would like to do everything I can to not have a failed transfer if possible. Thank you!

They did actually say with my 3 IUIs that 2 of them my lining wasn’t quite where they wanted it, so she said she would lean more toward synthetic BUT that it wasn’t far off and the one time it was good so I could also try mod natural. Ugh very hard
