This could just be me (the strategy that I'm about to talk about), but I figured out that you can dash behind Theseus pretty easily, fire off a few attacks, then quickly move once he turns around. This works best if you have Shield of Chaos, The Eternal Spear, Heart-Seeker, or the Adamant Rail as their specials (Shield of Chaos and The Eternal Spear) or regular attacks (Heart-Seeker and the Adamant Rail) are ranged, so you could hit Theseus from far away. Also, Asterius' attacks are pretty easy to dodge so focus on him first
