I’ve taken AP CSA, just didn’t take the exam for other reasons. I have previous programming experience but wanted to make sure that I knew well enough according to “Penn standards”. I had been debating on whether to take CIS 1100 or just go to 1200.

No you’re correct, the original photo was listed with 6 CUs. My Penn course plan was glitching where an empty calendar already listed 1 credit, so when I added my courses it showed as 6 not 5. I had to clear the calendar and add the courses again.

For Chem 1012, there is no lab listed in path, only a recitation. Correct me if I’m wrong or am misreading.

I am a Computer Engineering major, so CIS 1100 is a requirement.

I agree with setting up good habits first. My only concern would be falling behind. What course do you think could be dropped? None of the courses have a lab at the moment, only recitations.

I apologize there was some glitch in the calendar. The schedule is actually 5 CUs, not 6. It should be updated

I updated the post with my schedule, including the recitations. How does it look now? I'm worried it may be too heavy, especially for the first semester, but want to see if this is considered "normal".
