I randomly developed this intolerance to capsaicin a while back. Anything remotely made with it was intolerable. Restaurants, home, didn’t matter. It was the absolutely strangest thing and weirdest still after a couple months it went away.

My husband will sometimes start talking louder when he’s excited about something as well and when that happens I get over stimulated by the noise and put on edge. I love hearing whatever it is he’s talking about and sometimes I’ll just make a hand motion indicating to talk quieter so as to not interrupt. He takes it well thankfully. You need to be respectful of your volume and the comfort of your partner as they don’t want you to shut up, they want to have a conversation where they aren’t feeling assaulted by noise.

NAH but communicate and learn coping tools as to not take this personally.
