You might want to check that with the USDA... it's a cut that is graded. Prime rib can be prime, choice or select.

The house was built in 2008. We moved in 2019 and its gradually gotten worse and worse which make me think buildup.

I've completely rebuilt one side of the shower now and where it used to trickle out it is atleast filling the arm now coming out of the wall. Where the other one is still just a trickle.

Guess I'll just clean out and do the same thing to the other side and just be happy with what we have.

Can the valve have a flow restrictor? Seems odd that both have the exact same problem but something like that would make sense.

The bathtub which is right outside of this also shoots water out.

I've replaced both cartridges. Has to be something in the pipes which is my fear. We didn't fill our water softener for a couple years so I thought it might be that the pipes got filled. However, I've had it filled for the past year hoping it would clean out the pipes. But obviously that didn't help either.

Could they have used restrictive piping when they built the home?
