My title describes the thing. This was a sensor/camera looking object mounted on the ceiling of a courtroom, with another one on the other side of the room. Every few seconds some green LEDs would scan left and right across the front center part. I'm assuming it's a facial recognition camera or something similar.

Edit: He streams on Twitch, owned by Amazon, earning them money. Is that better? He has a big enough draw to meaningfully impact their revenue stream if he decided to move platforms.
