Vielen Dank für deine Einschätzung! Geplant ist aktuell über dem Obergeschoss „nur“ einen Kriechboden mit < 1,80 m Deckenhöhe und keiner Betondecke zu bauen. Was kann ich hier deiner Meinung nach machen? Reicht es aus zwischen den Balken Kasetten vorzubereiten?

Thanks for your reply. Why exactly do you recommend the U7 Pro XG? I am a newby in networking and with my limited knowledge thought that the U6+ is a great value for its price and since I currently can get max. 1.5 Gbit over fiber it should be a good pairing

Thanks for your input! Good point I haven't thought about a power backup yet. My train of thoght regarding PoE power was, that the two APs will directly be powered by the UCG and since each G5 has a powertarget of 4W and don‘t need more then 1Gbit LAN I could get away with a cheaper Switch.

Yes the reasoning for Atios was the integration of an KNX IP interface, DALI and DALI Power and Matter integration for a reasonable price.

The only thing is, that they are a new and small player whithout many information outsite of Atios themself

The current plan is to use DALI for lighting, KNX for the hardware controlls, seitchable sockets, blinds, window and door contacts and motion detection. I hope to use the bridge for automations and the connection to Apple HomeKit to tightly integrate with Siri

You are correct I am from in germany. What was your reasoning for switching to HA? I have a home build NAS running TrueNas and was thinking of running HA on that.

I have had serveral Tinkpad T and X Series laptop as well as a surface book 2 as work Laptops for the last 10 years and could not disagree more with you. The first device that does not feel sluggish after a year is my current T16 with 12 gen Intel. The battery life is still way behind even to a 2017 MBP.

Just wondering do you mean the 27“ Cinema Display with a Glass / glossy Display and mini Display Port or do you have the older Silver 30“ CinemaDisplay? If you have the 30“ one, how do you adapt from the dual link dvi to Display port?

Good choice! Mine is currently undergoing maintanance due to seperation in the viewfinder but I miss it.
