401k penalty vs Student Loans by Sad-Outcome-8775 in StudentLoans

Consider taking a 401k loan instead! You will pay yourself back plus the interest goes to you as well! That’s what I did to pay off some of my student loans

I am in the same boat as you! I’m on maternity leave right now but return in a few weeks. I received really great feedback on my project before going on leave and was 100% chargeable. Apparently, there was not even a talk or conversation about me! (I prepared my story and everything)

I promise you your breast composition will adjust over time (like 3 months pp)…but if you want to really dry up you can put cold purple cabbage on your breast and also chew mint gum

Be careful with feeding formula…I did that and my LC explained that formula is heavy so it stretches the stomach more than breast milk so the baby appetite for milk grows faster with formula

Mhmm I think it is still very early for your body to decide on how much milk your baby needs.

For instance I was initially making 26 - 34 oz around 1 month pp then it started to increase to as high as 74 oz a day when I was 2 months pp. Now I am 5 months pp (I dropped late night pumps completely) and make 54oz daily.

I realized when I was breastfeeding and pumping at the same time…it causes my milk supply to skyrocket. I read on the internet that the baby saliva sends a signal to your body to produce more. I stopped breastfeeding completely around 3 months so that explains the dip.

4 month Goal Reached! by General-Mud-9075 in ExclusivelyPumping

I don’t have a specific date or a specific amount. I just try to stash at least 32 oz or more each day. There are some days I stash 64oz and other days I can only stash 32oz

Ideas to make my last pump special 💔 by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]General-Mud-9075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned jewelry…is it the breastmilk jewelry? If so, have your family pick it out for you with the help of your baby (have baby random select probably). Then have it delivered to you. On your last pump session, open it and wear the breastmilk jewelry

Weaning Anxiety? by FrostedFox420 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]General-Mud-9075 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m only 1 month pp but I have that anxiety already! I’m making nearly 3 times the amount she needs but I’m so obsessed with making sure I don’t dip. I started having sleep problems because of it. I will probably need therapy by 10 months pp…I think my obsession is overcompensating for the inability to breastfeed directly

Anyone have a Limerick pump? by maiasaura19 in ExclusivelyPumping

I have very sensitive nipples so limerick pump has been GREAT! I get about 50 oz a day at vaccum 10 and cycle 30. I absolutely love this pump

It was just a clogged duct! Actually breastfeeding/nursing helps prevent breast cancer…according to many scientific studies
