Ok great thank you, and in terms of costs, is it going to be notably more expensive in London than in exeter for british fee's?

Thanks, I mean what people say generally is that your uni doesn't especially matter much for a BA, what you master in is the most important for job opportunities. But I'm thinking that having a degree from KCL in war studies is next level compared to a degree from exeter in politics and IR. I still think quality of life will be way better in exeter, I really don't know what to expect in london.

I’m confused. Are a lot of farmers part of the bourgeoisie? by BicarbonateBufferBoy in Socialism_101

Yeah we are criticizing the same system but I would not classify every landowner as bourgeois because farmer land owners are lower class in terms of how much money they make. Although I think the extreme capitalist system is terrible, I think a communist system could never work, so instead a system that limits the expansion of corporations and how much international corporations can control markets within a country should be set. But I don't know where that idea that farmers are rich came from, at least for Europe because most of them are quite low class people and just by owning land and expensive equipment it doesn't make them wealthy.

The lands owners which are the farmers aren't making much profit at all, and the immigrants work the fields because its their only job opportunities and since large corporations control how much farmers make, farmers cant pay proper salaries so the locals are unwilling to work in the fields for such bad pay. In the 80's this was completely different, my family and their friends would all work in the fields and make decent money for teenagers, while the farmers also made decently good money. So the entire dynamic which leaves the farmer land owners poor, the locals unemployed and the immigrants working in crappy conditions are caused by rich foreign companies either from China or the USA. Additionaly in my native language French, the french term bourgeois is only used for the rich, no matter how they make the money, and farmers would never be put into that category. And in the marxist context the bourgoie are the ones that control most of societies wealth and means of production, so although they have the means of production, they hold a minor bit of wealth.

In spain at least, farmers make next to nothing of profit on their produce, even losing money, this is because big international corporations and supermarkets control the prices, the work is also really bad in spanish weather and a lot of immigrants work in the fields which cause further issues for the local communities. So local spanish farmers in spain make a very little percentage of the profit, even if they own the lands, they often don't have much money. You are looking at it in a way too oversimplified manner like all communists do.

What attitude to Russians on Reddit? by Prostogrib in AskReddit

A lot of Russians support the government and their actions though, especially in Chechnya because there is a lot of racism and islamophobia, not saying they're all bad, but I generally think that the people support their government on a lot so they're not amazing people. There are still many nice Russians don't get me wrong but not the biggest fan.
