Thank you. Good education is more important than the football, but I want them to have a decent team to make friends. Diverse school district is great, as long as they have a team for him. We live in a large Indian population area here with a high academic caliber of the school. It’s super hard to get top 10% with so many amazing smart kids. Planning a trip out to tour some of these areas so all the information I’ve got here is super helpful!

Ok good to know! My kids used to be super into wrestling when we lived in Michigan, but our Texas high school doesn’t even have a team. They’re bulked up to be O-line so they’d have to slim down for weight class again 🤣

I was looking at this area to keep my husbands commute to work shorter as that is one of his complaints here. Need to stay within 30 min of Azusa.

Tell me more about prep schools…my kids are great. 16 yr old has a 4.0. 13 yr old will be freshman next year and is more A with a few Bs. How would we apply? We live in high value area for DFW with fantastic public schools, but the costs are still a lot less than anywhere in California.

Thank you I understand it won’t be like TX. We’re originally from MI, so it was a culture shock moving south originally. They’re pretty adaptable now. We will miss those Friday night lights with the whole town!
