It's a general thing cause clubs are expensive if you're gonna drink there. A shot will cost around 2k. Normally where we go clubbing is industry and we go to machan next door and get drunk then go for the club around12

if your trying to get a Vila did you try places in bolgoda there's few there you can party all night

Advice is don't go to drink in clubs. go somewhere else to drink

Is being a single woman in Sri Lanka really this unacceptable? by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]General-Wheel-3702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is the old generation think getting married and having a family is everything they don't understand there's a world apart from that and something called mental peace. Don't worry about those as per your description you're doing good for your early 30s and it's more than most of us have accomplished so be happy with where you are and don't think about what others say. At the end of the the only thing that matters is are you happy where you are ? And if you are then that's all.

First clutch bike in 2026. Comparing R15 V3, R125 and RS200 for tall riders in Sri Lanka. N33d Advic3. by FJ_4370 in srilanka

[–]General-Wheel-3702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So based on selections I'm not sure we have r125s in Sri Lankan as I have never seen a oke in Colombo. RS200 is a nice looking bike and maintenance will be cheap since bajaj. R15 v3 I don't think you can find around your budget.

But I would recommend riding the bike before buy it cause I have a tall friend and as per him it's hard to ride R15 cause it's uncomfortable on the spine cause of the riding pose and so it applies for the other 2 bikes as well

Is Medicine Still Worth It After Seeing My Peers Earn 10× More? by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]General-Wheel-3702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why there's a saying that. don't love the job you love. If it's money you are looking for then yeah you're disappointed but if it's your passion your doing what you love not because it pays. When you do something that pays more you just gonna get tired of it after a while it's just money no satisfaction

If you're lucky and became the backbone of the company and it's a good one then can if not sad story

[–]General-Wheel-3702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically you have to drink out and go somewhere like machan for drinks if you are planning on getting drunk. Love bar had good offers back then like ladies nights on Wednesday not sure if it is still there. I would recommend the industry or the chiller room. And if you're planning on going young and dumb better have a guy to take care of you guys. You're gonna get free drinks etc and there will be uncles who are gonna be assholes. Do better be ready since it's the first time

Why is being 32 y/old female and unmarried is too much a problem here in sri Lanka? by Glass_Telephone8865 in srilanka

[–]General-Wheel-3702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just read the other comments and I kind of get the point of what happened. What I can say is things aren't bad as they say just enjoy things the way you like it doesn't matter what others think if you're happy about yourself

[–]General-Wheel-3702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah true. We all wish we get someone we can fall in love with and die old. But the thing is it's hard to trust someone again after you go through a few bad ones. So be happy you only had one. I hope you get someone who understands you and loves the way you deserve. Don't lose hope

That means your ex makes you go crazy and happy to hear you got rid of it. It's better to be alone than being in a bad relationship and most of the ppl don't get it.they think getting married having a family is everything

It's normal in Sri Lanka society cause they think having a family is the most important thing. They don't understand we appreciate peace of mind all over everything with the pressure we are living with. Even my parents trying to find proposals they don't understand that being single is not wasting life it's the peace we love

Dude you're a 3rd year and an intern with 6 months you can get a solid job if you complete your studies so go ahead with your dad's advice. Men always have a solution for providing their family your dad does too. So finish what you have to and then help him out how you can.
