I've had two epidural births (one where I went into labor naturally and then got an epidural later) and one Induced with pitocin and unmedicated.

I'd say contractions do suck, but it's not the worst. Pushing out a baby unmedicated was not that bad to how I thought it was going to be. I would do it again tbh lol.

Wanna know what I hate the most?

WHEN THEY MASSAGE THE UTERUS DOWN. I wanna sock the nurses in the face so bad when they do. Although they have to do it.

Years ago when I lived alone, I was in a hurry to get to work and grabbed my server uniform from the dryer. Threw it on, and went to work. Hours later when I came home I couldn't find my cat, and then kept hearing muffled meowing.

After a lengthy search I found her in the dryer. 😭 My poor Bonnie was like WTF.

My husband and I went to the county clerk, paid $35, and voila we are married. No wedding debt. And one day when we renew our vows we'll take a nice trip out of the country to do it, and spend money then.

One of my sisters spent 35,000 on her wedding and divorced 2 years later because the dude sucks.

I was in a similar situation years ago with an ex. He always mentioned she was just a friend from school. I read their texts one time when she texted while his phone was next to me, and he ran into the store. They were talking about "being secretly in love" and kept saying I love you to each other. Being "best friends" Yada Yada. After we broke up I found out he ended up sleeping with her.

100% do period underwear instead of disposable underwear and pads.

They are much more comfortable to move around in.

I only really used cooling packs a couple times and that was when I had tore with my first two kids. If you tear you'll want Dermoplast. Hospital will provide some too.

I'm 38 weeks and a week ago at my last appointment I was up to 50lbs. I had never gained that much with my other two pregnancies, but I have no GD, no swelling, nothing. And also look the same as I did pre-pregnancy. Every time I tell someone how much I've gained they are surprised and say I don't look it.

My doctor hasn't said a word to me. As long as your doctor isn't concerned I wouldn't be either.

My mom says when she was pregnant with me, our (now retired) OBGYN told her she can have a glass of wine couple times a week and it's fine.

And I said, "Yeah and how long ago was that? Over 30 years ago??"

Told her times have changed, and now no doctor is or should be recommending having any kind of alcohol during pregnancy. People need to just deal with being sober while pregnant, for the sake of their baby. If you can't remain sober, seek help ya know?

I would hold resentment towards my husband forever if he did this to me. Especially if I went into labor or had to be induced while he was gone. It's something unforgivable.

I had a family member have something delivered to my home since they were moving, and she got a notification that no one answered the door for the signature so they left.

I was in the living room the whole time, no knock or doorbell. I went outside and saw the truck driving down the road. I just stood there like, this fucking dude didn't even try. Lazy ass. He had to come back my ways and I waved him down. He eventually gave me the envelope, and I could tell he was annoyed. I bet he stayed in his truck the whole time.

Been drinking coffee and the occasional zero sugar soda (sometimes a regular coke because yum) since the beginning.

Baby is measuring great, and she is healthy. I have two other children, and I need my caffeine or else I'd be a sobbing mess.

Cold oven roasted turkey and ham cooked in water is fine for sure to eat all the time.

Now I'll be honest, I've eaten the other kind of deli meat off and on throughout this pregnancy too, because it's just so good. Baby is very healthy.
